| ~*~ In my opinion, nothing really happened.... We had to be at school before 8...waited for the charter buses... Two came on time. One came late... The four of us were stuck on the same bus as our teacher, making it slightly sucky, but still tolerable. Our bus driver was named Dan. He's our HOMIE! That comes LATER... Sorry. Yea, anyhow, I'd brought along my dad's DELL juke box thingie... It's sorta like an IPOD, but a little less... flat... I brought my CD player! Me too! I didn't bring one... Two books... Notebook... Altoid Sours.... Tangerine flavor! And a lot of other stuff we didn't really NEED... apart from the money... Lots of money... Ya, I felt rich...for once... OOOK...sooo, we left school.... was excited and bored after half an hour... We SLEPT for at least half the drive... Which was about 8 hours by the way. In between, we stopped at a bunch of fast food restaurants... But our group decided to eat at In N Out... Where we got slightly fatter from those burgers... Loraine! How could you say that?! YOU aren't even the slightest bit FAT... Yes I am! Shut up! Ok, so we ate, then got back on the bus...and slept and did what not. I sat next to Charleen. And I sat next to Rochelle. About 3/4 of the way there, we stopped at a rest stop where there was junk food and soda machines... but I forgot to bring my wallet... so, I just watched... So did I... And it was friggin COLD.... So after the break we hopped back onto the bus, which brought us to our hotel. It sucked. It was a Mariott Hotel.... Where we had to wait for another 20 minutes for the teacher to get all the room cards, one for each of us, I think. Yeah, our room number was 2760. So we went, got lost a little, then found our room, which had a small balcony. What sucked was that the guys had the floor above us.... We got "settled" and waited for the pizza. Pizza? Yea, pizza, We went to another mom's room to get the pizza and not so cold water....some dinner huh? Psh, at least it was edible... And then we changed into our concert outfits... White collared shirt. Black pants and shoes. Our instruments and music... And went down to the buses at around 6:20. We played for two judges at Milpitas High. Since there were three of our orchestras, Advanced (lowest) went first. Then Concert. Then String Ensemble. We're in String Ensemble. S.E played Hoe Down by Copland, and Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 5. 50 Points each song. 49 for Hoe Down. 49.5 for Concerto Grosso. 98.5 total score. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... ANYHOW... we went back to our hotel in good enough spirits.... Lights were supposed to go out at 11...but uh.... Remember how we said that the guys were on the floor above us? Well, turns out some of them were some of the more annoying ones... And they were jumping around and doing who knows what at like midnight. So we called them to tell 'em to shut up and be quiet, which triggered a chain of calls throughout the night. Charleen had gone to bed at 11 somethin....after Will & Grace was over of course....haha...and then there was this Charlies Angels reject show with three girls who're totally trying to be like the real ones.... Yea, and so we all went to sleep at like 1 somethin.... When we were woken up by a CALL at three in the morning. Charleen picked up and I supposedly told her to give the phone to me, which she did. Turns out, it was one of the guys upstairs in the room above us....which pissed me off beyond anything else in the world and I was all, "F*** you, you idiotic assholes!" And then she handed the phone back to me and I hung up, I think... Yea, stupid freaks....they should know better.... And so we went back to sleep.... And Rochelle snored... WTF?!?!?! ~*~ |
