| ~St. Gabriel's~ |
| ~*~ Nicole, Charleen, Rochelle, Loraine, Heero, Duo, and Trowa arrived at St. Gabriel's that one day to see a "welcoming" party waiting for them at the front gate. Beside her, Loraine heard Heero mutter somet5hing incoherently under his breath. She shot him a sideways look, wondering why he looked so unhappy. When she turned her attention back to the other people watiting for them, she could almost see why... At the head of the party was a rather short blonde girl with blue eyes, staring right at Heero. As they neared she called out, "HEERO!" Heero winced slightly. "Peace-loving, pink-loving, stalker girl?" muttered Loraine. Heero gave Loraine a look of surprise. "How did you ever guess?" he asked, wryly. Loraine shrugged. "That's what happens when youspend too much time with Nicole and Rochelle." "Oh, haha, Lor. I'm sorry if we have a knack for not liking THEM," said Nicole, who overheard her friend. They were almost two meters away from the girl and her friends. "Relena," said Heero in that monotone voice of his. "Oh, Heero! I - Who's this?" she inquired, suddenly noticing Heero's companions. It was obvious she was addressing the four girls, as she had probably already met the other two before. "We're some new friends," said Loraine stiffly. "Oh?" sniffed Relena, a bit disgruntled that Heero had four new friends, all GIRLS, who could be a threat to her relationship with him. "Hai, that's right, Relena. FRIENDS," said Nicole. "I'm Charleen," said the Vietnamse girl, inclining her head slightly, being polite. "Nicole." "Rochelle." "Loraine." Relena jerked her head in acknowledgment. "I'm Relena Peacecraft, Heir to the Sanq Kingdom, Queen of the World Nation, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation, and currently running for president," she said, a bit of haughty pride evident in her voice. The other four girls nodded their heads, not impressed nor intidmidated in the slightest. Relena opened her mouth to speak again, when she was interrupted by Nicole. "Don't need to say or ask anything more. WE do not have last names nor do we have any title whatsoever, although you may wonder why those such as us with literally no name are in the presence of Heero. We have our reasons, just as you have yours to try and be by him as much as possible." Relena stared, her blue eyes showing both astonishment and indignance. But Nicole knew she hit the nail right on the head. As did her other friends. "She's a telepath," said Loraine. "We all are," added Rochelle. Charleen nodded assent. Relena regained what composure she had. "Well, then. I suppose we had better get to class. Come along. Heero?" she said, holding her arm out for him to take. He looked as though he would refuse, when he saw the little glint in her eyes. Mentally sighing, he reached out... almost touching her arm when... A gunshot could be heard and a bullet appeared to fly through the space between Heero and Relena, cutting some of Relena's bowl-shaped bangs in the process. She gasped, about to latch on to Heero for dear life, when a different voice split through the air. "Touch him, and this bullet will go straight through you, Relena." Relena's friends gasped as well. Standing there, about 6 or 7 meters away, was a teenage girl, with black and purple hair. Green eyes glinted in the light, as she had a grip on the Glock in her had, ready to shoot again. Still holding the gun up, she walked toward the group. As she neared, they acould all see that she was about 5' 3", and looked to be an Asian-American. The only one who didn't look surprised at all was Heero. "Heero!" cried Relena, once again, about to jump on him. "Eh! What did I tell you?!" said the other girl. Relena stopped. "Silver," said Heero," It's fine. Put it away." Silver shook her head. "Not until she steps 10 feet away from you, big brother." Slowly, Relena moved away, reluctance in every step she took. Loraine and her friends were looking at Silver in slight awe. "Heero! Why didn't you say you had a sister?" Heero shot Loraine a look. "Hn... Slipped my mind," he replied. His sister rolled her eyes. "Riight," she retorted. "Silvyyy!!!!" yelled Duo. "Maxwell! Touch me and you die!" she snapped. The braided boy stopped in his tracks. Trowa nodded to Silver. "Hey." Silver grinned. "Barton! How ya doin?" Trowa smiled a little. "I'm fine. it's good to see you again." "Silver. Put the Glock down," said Heero. "Yes, that's right. Listen to Heero, girl! Put it down," cried Relena. The firearm in Silver's hand snapped back up ready to shoot. "Not until YOU shut your little mouth and back AWAY," she hissed. The other girl just stood there, terrified. "Come on, Silver. I think we should be getting to class," spoke Nicole. Rochelle nodded. "We can have a little more fun with her during Phys Ed. and what not." Slowly, Heero's sister lowered her Glock, finally jamming it back into it's holder at her belt. "Come on, people. We gotta go collect our schedules...." called Loraine. Together, the eight teens walked off towards the unknown, leaving an almost hysterical Relena and her pals behind. ~*~ Nicole stared at her schedule in her hand. They had all gotten their classes from the office people. There were seven classes total. Math, Science, English, History, Computers, Phys. Ed., and an extra Elective. Nicole, Charleen, and Trowa had advanced Math together. The others had Math a year above their standard levels. For Science, Heero, Silver, Nicole, and Charleen had the same Physics class. Rochelle, Loraine, and Duo were in a different one. Silver, Charleen, Trowa, and Loraine had the same English class, and the others were in the same one as well. All eight of them had the same History, Computer, and Phys. Ed. classes. For the extra elective, all except Heero and Duo were taking music. The other two had Global Communications. ~*~ |
