| "Hello Jane," Raven said, sitting up. The girl who was dressed in the red dress jumped up and turned. Her hair was taken down now, her diamond net probably in her purse. "And what did you do to your customer this time?" "I got his wedding ring, so he's missing a finger and an ear, but he won't be telling how he lost it because it would definitely ruin his political career," Jane turned to the driver, "Pull over." "Awww...You don't hafta do that," said Raven as the car stopped. The driver pulled around, pointing a gun at Raven, looked him over. "Not so safe without your wittle guard now are you? I'm quite shocked they even let you leave your cage," said Mika, glaring at Raven, and mocking his voice from the earlier conference. He glanced at Jane for an explanation and noticed how similar their facial features were in the moonlight. "Raven darling, I believe you've met my sister, Mika," said Jane in a silky voice. "Crae," he cursed in his native language, "She's your sister too?" "Yeah, I'm quite shocked you managed to get in here with her around though," Jane replied, "Mika dearest, I think you're getting a bit sloppy." "I noticed him when I got back in the E.C., but i figured we could torment him a bit first. Besides, what's the worst he can do to two heavily armed girls," she said, the hint of an evil grin on her thin lips. Raven ignored the remark. "I need to see Mika," he said, scowling at Mika, "Although, I would have figured he'd be the one picking you up, but I guess I was wrong." "You're so observant," Mika said, returning his look. "You shut up," he snapped, and then turning to Jane, "Are you headed there?" "Could be," Jane said, pulling one of the diamond hairpins, which was actually a dagger, out of her purse and be gan cleaning the blood off it. Raven rolled his eyes, the thing he hated about prostitutes was that they never got around to answering questions unless they were paid. Jane's case was different, because her victims never knew they were paying her to decapitate them instead of sleeping with them. He pulled out some more denachs adn handed them to Jane. "Mika, take us to Xako," said Jane, using Mike's nickname. Mika started the ethercraft again, and pulled away, angered that they were not throwning Raven out on the street. |
