Mordred is a Black-Jeweled Black Widow Warlord Prince.  Let's just say that he's one powerful mo-fo.  He doesn't advertise that he's a Black Widow because generally only females are Black Widows, and it's an advantage he doesn't want others to know of.

The son of Arthur Pendragon and Morgen LeFay, Mordred was imprisoned in a tree by Merlin.  Mordred's body died and was absorbed by the tree, but Mordred was still alive, thanks to his Jewels.  And so, he waited, and waited and waited...  Then, during one fateful summer vacation (when Val was visiting relatives in England), he sensed Val practicing her senshi attacks.  The attacks had only a bit of magic, but it was enough to wake him.  He started making all sorts of trouble, attracting the attention of Crystal's coven.  Because he's a Black Widow, he was able to partially take over Crystal's mind, and then the rest of the coven's.  Crystal removed the Jewels from the tree, and because of Mordred had her coven follow Val's psychic scent to L.A., where they found the L.A. Soldiers.  Thus began the process of stealing energy so they could revive Mordred (but they don't know that).  Had this season actually happened, Mordred would've possessed Aurora and assumed this form, which was what he looked like before Merlin "killed" him. --Mina, 03.5.21
