isac newton was started his life on the 4th january 1643, he was born in a town called woolsthrop , linconshire, england, unfortunatly eaven the most greatest of people are still mortal and this caused his un evadable death on march 31st 1727 in london , england. newton had a thirst for knowledge he began to quench that thirst when he attended the free gramma school of Grantham. although newton had a great intellect his genuis was not shown in the acedemic work the undertook while attending that school. the school saw him as "idle and inattentive". newton wasent born into a poor family, his mother decided to take him out school and make him help her handle the estate, but no promise was shown in that area eaither. william ayscough was the person who persuaded newton to go to university, he also convinced his mother to let him to so. so newton returned to free grammar school in grantham in 1660 so he could complete his school diploma. this time he showed a much better track record then when he previously attended the school. newton then when to cambridge and studied mathematics, he was forced to leave camberige becuase of the plauge this ironicly caused the most significant discoveries that he would use later in his life. unfortunatly he did not show these discoveries to the public. newton spent alot of time trying to figure out the earths orbits because of a conflict of theories between him and hooke. after newton lost intrest in that he devoted most of his effort to theological speculation. then halley persuaded newton to continue his works on the orbits and this leat to be the one of the most important and influential works of physics in all of history. this was called the Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy) (1687), often shortened to Principia Mathematica or simply "the Principia. "this coverd the most renownd "3 laws of motion" laws of inertia, action and reaction, and acceleration proportional to force. he also wrote other books, in his second book he showed applications of scientific philosophy which came to replace Cartesianism. and his third book also covered applications of his dynamics, including an explanation for tides and a theory of lunar motion. all of these books brang a majorly significant but not equal addition to science. newton then invented a scientific mehodolgy that se t four rules of scientific reasoning. These rules were stated in the Principia and proposed that (1) we are to admit no more causes of natural things such as are both true and sufficient to explain their appearances, (2) the same natural effects must be assigned to the same causes, (3) qualities of bodies are to be esteemed as universal, and (4) propositions deduced from observation of phenomena should be viewed as accurate until other phenomena contradict them. these were univeral rules an revolutionaly. and from these he derived the universal laws of nautre this enabled him to unravel all the unsolved problems of his day. newton was also the person to invent calculus this was a long time before leibinz and he did not publish his work, this not being a rare occurance. newtons life was extremely significant and left more than foot print on what science is seen as today. although back in his time many people found it hard to accept alot of his theories this was due to, jelously ingnorance and the stubborness of other scientists this also is not a rare occurance with many other people like newton mainly because people dont like to be told they are wrong or that there method isent the best way for somthing to be done. without newtons existence many inventions would not be here around us today.
