This is a list of terms, abbreviations and acronyms you may come across as an RM2K programmer.
As soon as I find one or am asked about one, I'll put it up here.

ABS = Active battle system, like Zelda's.

CBS = Custom Battle System
CMS = Custom Menu System

Postiton Tracking = Logging an event's (Usually the hero's) X and Y co-ordinates.

Referencing = Converting names in messages to \N[1] \N[2]...

Tactical Battle System = A special type of battle system, where the player and the computer make only one attack in each battle, then go back to an overland map
