Venue: Edison International Field
Location: Anaheim, CA
The Edison International Field is filled with pyrotechnics as PPW Mutilation airs live on ABS Network. The fans are packed in in their thousands, awaiting another night of first class entertainment.
DM: What a night we have for you tonight! The Edison International Field is packed to the rafters! Good evening everyone I'm Donovan Michaels here alongside PPW veteran Jesy Blue...
JB: Howdy. There is a massive night ahead of us here in Anaheim, a tag team match, a Triple Threat Strap match, and 2 more PPW debuts!
DM: That's right newcomers Saorse and Vregen Kristi will both debut here tonight in Pure Pain Wrestling, first up - Saorse in a Triple Threat Strap match against Shadow and the returning Adz!
JB: I love Adz...
DM: Ok.
OPENING
MATCH
TRIPLE THREAT STRAP MATCH
Shadow vs. Adz vs. Saorse
DM: What a match up this is going to be.
JB: That's right, we have Adz, Saorse and Shadow in a Triple Threat Strap Match.
DM: I can't wait, this should be an excellent match-up.
The lights go out and begin to flash multicoloured. "Bring me to Life" hits and Adz slowly walks out, sauntering to the ring. The fans cheer... they love Adz!
DM: So far he is totally unproven in this federation, what a start to his PPW career this would be if he won tonight.
JB: Yes it would, but it won't be easy, he has two opponents, one proven and the other not.
The first riff of “Freedom Fighter” finds its way out into the arena note, as dark blue sparks shoot across from one side of the ramp to meet the light blue sparks from the other side. The arena darkens as different shaded blue spotlights become the only things illuminating the arena, and Saorse slowly paces himself out to the beginning of the ramp and takes in the entire electric scene before him. With a deep breath, Saorse paces himself down the ramp now, taking his time as the blue glow stick that stretches the length of the ramp on both sides starts exploding upwards step by step. Saorse circles the ring before slowly entering with a jump over the top ropes, and slowly steps up onto the right turnbuckle facing nothing but the crowd, gazing out with another deep breath and signalling his trademark finger-crossing to the fans, hopping down again, and staring at his opponent.
DM: Both the unproven men are in the ring, I bet they are itching to get started! Now we await Shadow...
The crow begins to play as a little child begins to speak the lights go out and smoke begins to build up around the entrance way doors as a dark shadow begins to walk out from the smoke above and begins to slowly walk to the ring as he gets to the ring he jumps to the top of the ring posted and kneels onto the ring post like a crow with a sadistic smile.
JB: Here is Shadow, his record is only 50-50, I am gonna have to bet on him winning though, he has the comfort of two PPW matches under his belt, a comfort that his two opponents do not have.
The referee attaches the strap to all three men and checks it isn't going to come lose. He signals over to the side of the ring that he is satisfied and signals for the bell to ring.
The bell rings and all three men stand almost stationary, looking at each of their opponents. The two newcomers seem a little more hesitant and Shadow takes advantage, Shadow charges at Saorse and gives him a swift chop to the face with his free hand. Shadow turns to face Ad and gives him the same treatment across the chest. Ad reels a little and Shadow uses the backward momentum of Adz to knock him to the floor.
JB: Shadow taking control at the beginning, long way to go though.
Shadow turns to step behind an incoming Saorse and snaps him down to the floor with the strap by looping it over his head. Shadow alternates between each man, stomping them in the head in an effort to keep them on the ground. Adz slightly recovers and grabs the foot of Shadow, Shadow attempts to struggle free and notices Saorse has grabbed his other foot. Both men pull backwards, bringing Shadow to the floor and the crowd begin to cheer.
DM: Chance a turnaround here maybe.
Adz and Saorse get to their feet at the same time, Adz pulls Saorse into him with the strap and knees him in the mid-section, sending him back down. Adz tugs up Shadow and pulls him over to the turnbuckle, dragging Saorse with them. Adz stands Shadow in the corner and begins raining blows down upon his head, occasionally turning around to kick Saorse in the head.
JB: Adz is really taking control here.
Adz moves out of the way and flings Shadow on top of Saorse. Adz pulls up Shadow again and delivers a piledriver, Adz pulls Shadow away and attempts an early pinfall. Almost as an after-thought, Adz goes back and touches the corner they were previously in. Adz attempts to drag the two to the next corner and meets instant resistance. Adz turns around to look who the problem is as Saorse flies up from the canvas and hits him with a clothesline. It is only enough, however, to make the big man stagger. Saorse gives Adz a kick to the gut and follows up with a DDT.
DM: Looks like the tide is turning again!
Shadow gets back to his feet and begins to exchange fists with Saorse. Saorse gains control of the exchange with a thigh tot he mid-section of Shadow and a knee to the face. Adz charges at Saorse from behind, Saorse turns in-time to partially duck out of the way and take Adz down with his feet. Saorse gets back to his feet and gives Shadow, who is back on his knees, a kick to the face. Saorse walks back over to Adz and delivers a leg-drop across his neck. Saorse stands back up and performs a knee-roll over the fallen Adz, while behind him, Shadow gets up and touches the corner that Adz previously did. Saorse feels the tension on the ropes and turns around, Shadow charges him and clotheslines him down to the met.
JB: Sneaky by Shadow, he got to it when nobody was watching.
DM: Yeah, sneaky, but effective.
JB: I can't disagree.
Shadow just manages to get to the second corner and touch it, having to work very hard on dragging his opponents whom are both beginning to stir. Adz is the first to his feet and charges as best he can at Shadow. He meets him with a clothesline that pushes him against the ropes, but not over them as the momentum could not be gained due to Saorse being attached to the strap. Adz and Shadow struggle against the ropes as Saorse gets to his feet. Saorse charges to the ropes and pushes against the back of Adz. After a bit of struggle all three men tumble over the top rope.
DM: They're taking it outside!
As if all rejuvenated by the fall all men are back to their feet at once, hammering away on each other, not spending more than a few seconds on any one opponent. Saorse and Shadow take a glance at one another, both men grab a hold of the strap and tug, they send Adz flying past them into the steel steps.
JB: Smart teamwork!
DM: Yeah but it won't last, you can't have teamwork in a match like this.
Both men begin stomping down on Adz before picking him up and rolling him under the bottom rope. Saorse grabs Shadow from behind and smashes his face into the ring post. Saorse rolls Shadow up and under the bottom rope. Saorse hops onto the apron and manages, with a little pulling of his opponents, to ascend the turnbuckle.
DM: I wonder what Saorse is attempting here.
Saorse leaps to the full extent of the strap and performs a frog splash over both of his opponents. Saorse struggles to his feet and touches the first corner. Saorse lays a few boots to the heads of both his opponents and pulls them with relative ease to the second corner and touches it.
JB: Saorse is halfway there, this is the furthest anyone has got in this match-up.
Adz struggles to his feet, stomps on Shadow and staggers toward Saorse, Adz swings hard only for Saorse to duck it and make Adz rotate the full one-hundred and eighty degrees. Saorse stays down and pulls Adz' legs from under him, causing him to smash his face against the canvas. Saorse attempts the pull to the third corner. The strain on his face is evident as he tries his hardest to pull his two opponents. Shadow seems to be more or less out of it but Adz is visibly putting the breaks on.
DM: This might prove to be the undoing of Saorse.
JB: It well might, but do any of these guys have the energy left over to make the full circuit of the ring?
DM: It's a good question, but I have no idea.
Saorse stops and walks back towards Adz, he ties a bit of the strap around the arm of Adz and then resumes his pull, the comparative ease of it appears obvious.
DM: Smart move, I hadn't thought of that.
JB: But how long will the effect last?
Saorse manages to pull Ad to the third post and touch it. Saorse makes his attempt on the fourth post but collapses to his knees. The crowd gasp and then cheer as Adz begins to move, yet then lays back down.
JB: What was that all about?
Saorse looks around at his opponents and sees no sign of movement. Saorse climbs back to his feet and begins the seemingly long trek to the fourth post. Saorse strains his face in agony as he has to pull both of his opponents, despite them looking completely out of it. The crowd each cheer on their own choice for the match and the arena noise becomes almost deafening.
After much struggling Saorse gets almost within grabbing distance of the post when the crowd roars. Saorse barely turns to see Adz charging at him.
DM: Adz must have been playing possum!
Saorse, more out of tiredness than intention, falls backwards out of the way and pushes his foot into the mid-section of Adz. Adz moves through the air, twisting slightly and hangs between the top rope and the apron floor.
JB: My God! The strap has caught itself around Adz' neck!
Saorse crawls back to his feet and almost falls onto the fourth turnbuckle. The referee calls to signal the end of the match.
Announcer: And your winner, Saorse!

REGULAR SINGLES MATCH
Undead Warrior vs. Lightning
The lights dim to a slight dark glow, as "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor hits the PA system. Undead Warrior appears at the top of the ramp and slowly walks down the aisle. He stops at the foot of the ring and turns to face the crowd, waving to an attractive looking woman in the front row.
JB: She's a looker.
DM: And she's also Undead Warrior's girlfriend.
JB: She came here to watch Undead Warrior get beaten? How nice of her.
"The Angle" by Core hits, and the lights dim as the echo of thunder goes though out the arena. Suddenly a bolt of lightning hits the entrance and the music picks up, a figure steps out wearing lightning designed westling gear, you can hear some of the crowd start to cheer. As The figure steps through the ropes is handed the mic and begins to talk.
The two men saunter in towards each other, staring each other down. Meanwhile, the referee signals for the bell, starting the match. Unexpectantly, both men move away from each other and rest in their corner.
JB: Someone needs to punch someone else in the face.
Finally, Undead Warrior and Lightning lock up in the center of the ring with Lightning starting off with a headlock. With some fists to Lightning's side, Undead Warrior is barely able to get him to release the hold. When Lightning spins around to attack Undead Warrior again, he is met with a Northern Lights suplex.
DM: Whoa. He dropped him hard.
JB: And now, he's sitting on him. Just what we need a psycho sitting on him.
Undead Warrior straddles Lightning, battering him with some stiff punches. Undead Warrior stands Lightning up, bounces off the ropes, jumps into the air and drops down with a spinning DDT. A cobra clutch is locked onto Lightning, but Lightning defends against it by pushing Undead Warrior back into the corner. The hold is released with some shocking elbows to Undead Warrior's ribs. With a handful of hair and an arm, Lightning hip-tosses Undead Warrior into the center of the ring.
JB: Look at that bimbo over there.
DM: Lightning?
JB: No, the other one. The one with the fans.
DM: She's cheering on her man.
JB: Lame.
Undead Warrior slowly stands to his feet and when he does, Lightning charges in at him with a clothesline. At the last second, Undead Warrior ducks under Lightning's arm.
JB: Damn, so close.
When Lightning turns around, Undead Warrior connects with a kick to the gut.
DM: Lightning is taken down with a DDT.
JB: Undead Warrior looks to be climbing up to the top rope, now. I hope he falls off and breaks his face.
Undead Warrior holds himself on the top rope, waiting for Lightning to stand up. Once Lightning faces Undead Warrior, he leaps off the top rope, hitting Lightning with a flying crossbody block, which knocks Lightning down. With a hooked leg, Undead Warrior covers Lightning.
JB: One...
DM: Two...
JB: Don't you count because Lightning just kicked out. And he looks mad.
Lightning scurries to his feet just before Undead Warrior, connecting his fist to his skull, dropping Undead Warrior down to his knees. With Undead Warrior down at waist level, Lightning boots him and then strikes him with a falling clothesline to a sound of boos.
JB: He's not going to let Undead Warrior away with almost getting the win.
DM: Especially since he's covering him.
The referee slaps his hand down to the mat ...1...
DM: Undead Warrior easily kicks out. He still has a lot left in him.
Grabbing Undead Warrior by the hair, Lightning begins to stand his opponent up. However, out of nowhere, Undead Warrior sneaks in and rolls Lightning up with an inside cradle.
DM: He might get away with this!
JB: Hell no!
Another two count for Undead Warrior.
DM: Lightning is pissed.
JB: Who can blame him?
Rising back to his feet, Lightning strikes Undead Warrior with a fist to the cranium. He backs Undead Warrior into the corner with his fists and whips him into the opposite corner. Using his speed and agility, Undead Warrior climbs up the ropes and grabs Lightning in the Suspended Sleeper Hold!
DM: He's going for the Suspended Sleeper Hold!
JB: ...Unfortunately for him, he missed it.
Yep. Lightning is able to wriggle through the move, making Undead Warrior land face-first on the canvas. A huge smirk spreads across Lightning's face as he watches Undead Warrior squirm on the mat. To stop the squirming, Lightning drops an elbow down across Undead Warrior's chin. He goes for another cover.
DM: One...two..thr-
Undead Warrior pops his shoulder up, breaking the count.
JB: Lightning needs to hold that shoulder down the next time.
Almost as if hearing Jesy's advice, Lightning covers Undead Warrior again, holding down his shoulder. The referee starts the count: ...1...2...
DM: Another kickout!
Slapping the mat in frustration, Lightning stands back up and walks back. While he waits for Undead Warrior to stand, the fans' attention turns towards the curtain, where The Dark Lotus emerges, slowly walking to the ring.
JB: The darkness factor of the arena just went up by ten points.
DM: He has no reason to be down here. Referee, someone, anyone, get him away.
The Dark Lotus' appearance captures Lightning's focus. He runs in at Undead Warrior, who is on his feet, but like Lightning before him, Undead Warrior steps out of the way, causing Lightning to crash shoulder first into the corner.
DM: He laid him! And now, he's going back to the top rope!
With a thrust of his legs, Undead Warrior flies off the top turnbuckle, landing a top rope elbow drop.
DM: He hit it! The elbow got him! It's all over! My god, hold me!
The referee falls to the mat, going for the pin. ...1...2...
JB: Ugh... shut-
From out of sight, The Dark Lotus comes around and places Lightning's foot on the bottom rope. When the referee spots Lightning's foot, he immediately breaks the count.
JB: Sweet Jesus yes! I told you that The Dark Lotus is great!
DM: Putting someone's foot on the rope does not make you great.
JB: Well, in my book it does.
The referee might not have seen The Dark Lotus' actions, but Undead Warrior sure did. From inside the ring, Undead Warrior shouts down at The Dark Lotus, pointing a stiff finger at him. With a smug smile on his face, The Dark Lotus spits back at Undead Warrior.
DM: How dirty.
JB: Uh oh. Undead Warrior's anger has exploded... again.
DM: The referee can barely hold him back. He's out of control!
Lightning slowly crawls to his feet, watching Undead Warrior throw a fit on The Dark Lotus. Seizing his chance, Lightning charges in, striking Undead Warrior in the kidneys with his boot. This devestating kick folds Undead Warrior over, in pain. Lightning gets behind Undead Warrior and places his hands around his waist.
JB: See what attacking from behind can do for a man!
DM: The Dark Lotus needs to be shot in the skull.
One german suplex is given to Undead Warrior, which Lightning follows up by holding onto Undead Warrior's waist. Another two german suplexes are completed.
DM: Lightning is rolling forward, covering Undead Warrior.
JB: Haha, excellent. The referee is counting... one... two... three! Lightning did it! Now that's what I call revenge.
While "Dead Bodies Everywhere" hits, The Dark Lotus walks up the stage, facing the ring, nodding his head at Lightning, who looks out, mystified.
DM: If it wasn't for The Dark Lotus, Lightning wouldn't have walked out as the winner.
JB: I can't believe you doubt his greatness.
WINNER OF THE MATCH BY PINFALL - Lightning
All of a sudden, from behind Undead Warrior's girlfriend, Shane Kast jumps the guard rail and slides into the ring.
DM: That's Shane Kast, what is he doing here?
JB: I guess he's here to congratulate Lightning.
Shane Kast goes straight for Undead Warrior, who is just getting to one knee, and hits him with a Shining Wizard, knocking Undead Warrior back down to the canvas. Shane Kast runs to the corner and jumps to the top rope, he jumps off and delivers a Six Thirty to Undead Warrior's limp body.
DM: The Shining Wizard followed by the Six Thirty, what is Shane Kast's agenda?
Shane Kast stands up and is now face to face with Lightning. Lightning doesn't know what to make of the situation so he starts to shout and point at Shane Kast. Shane Kast takes exception to this and slaps Lightning across the face.
JB: Wow Michaels, Shane Kast just bitch slapped Lightning into next week.
Lightning doesn't like this so he kicks Shane Kast in the mid section, Shane Kast hunches over, winded from the kick. Lightning puts Shane Kast in position for the Strike Of Lightning, but as the move is about to me hit, Shane Kast lands on his feet and delivers the Strike Of Lightning on Lightning.
DM: What speed, what agility there from Shane Kast.
JB: I think it's a little wrong that Shane Kast stole Lightning's finisher. Can't he think of his own?
DM: It's all about dominance, Jesy.
Shane Kast then hops onto the turnbuckle and taunts while both men are laid out on the mat. The crowd starts the "Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!" chants. Shane Kast leaves as referees and paramedics come to Undead Warrior and Lightning's assistance. PPW Mutilation cuts to an ad break.
We head backstage where Riddick Andrews is sat outside the office of President Mike Melling. He waits for the President to open the door. As he waits he shines his PPW Television Championship with a piece of rag. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, the door opens. Riddick is on his feet, his hands around Melling’s throat again and the President is pinned against the wall.
RA: I do not like being called a stooge Mike…
MM: I know, I know…
RA: I do not like it one bit… And the fact is, I think I may let Zale get his hands on Dinucci… I don’t care about him and I don’t care about you. What is there to stop me from ripping you and Dinucci limb from limb? What is to stop me from ruining your little party lifestyle?
MM: Because I am giving you what you want… Zale… In that damn cage!
RA: Tu Chez Mr Melling… You control me by guiding what I can and can’t have. But lay claim that I am still my own man, free and able to do what I want, when I want, how I want. That is somewhat of a contradiction is it not Mike? I mean… You stop me from proving I’m not in this to protect Dinucci but to agitate Zale yet you say I can do what I want? I am torn Mike… I am indeed torn… Torn between my wish to break free and destroy both Johnny Dinucci and you for good measure… and between my want to fight Zale in that ominous structure.
MM: Cooler heads will prevail Riddick… You can’t destroy me and still have what you want…
RA: Perhaps… But I wonder if Dinucci would protect you in the same way you protect him? Maybe if I go to him he will give me the match in exchange for destroying you… Perhaps I could win either way.
JD: Not a chance Riddick… You heard that ass hole… If you want your match at Conquest… you keep Zale away from me… Do you hear?
RA: Oh I hear you alright… But remember this… Both of you. Once Conquest is over… Colin Zale wont be the only thing you have to worry about.
Riddick releases Melling and walks out of the room, Dinucci and Melling look at each other before we fade to commercial.
MID-CARD
MAIN EVENT
REGULAR SINGLES MATCH
Riddick Andrews vs. Ace Borger
DM: This is going to be a huge night for PPW’s young Television Champion. We could see him take two losses in one night or cement his status in PPW as one of our top stars by winning twice in one night.
JB: He’s up to it and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him win twice.
DM: Neither match will be easy for or on him, and this one can’t help but effect him in the Main Event.
JB: We’re about to find out.
As soon as Jesy finishes his statement the lights in the arena go out and red sirens start to flash everywhere. "Favorite Son" by Green Day slams onto the PA as the fans cheer violently for "The Sniper" Ace Borger . Ace walks into the entranceway and out onto the ramp, in his left hand propped over his shoulder is a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Dressed in his ring gear, a pair of Oakley's on his face, he slowly removes them and scans the crowd as they continue to cheer for him. Whipping the sunglasses into the crowd he raises the bat into the air and makes his way to the ring.
DM: Ace looks ready to go; he knows how important this match is for him. Obviously he realizes that defeating Riddick will not only make everyone in PPW stand up and notice him, but it also gives him a great claim to the Television Title in the future.
JB: It only gives him as much of a claim as Riddick and the powers that be allow him to and Riddick seems to be the golden boy of PPW’s leadership.
DM: We’re about to find out what Ace can do because here comes the Television Champion !
"Can't Stop" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers hits as Riddick heads out onto the ramp. The crowd explodes as he makes his way to the ring. His eyes never come into contact with the crowd as if shunning the pop. He rolls into the ring and jumps to his feet, he then walks to each side of the ring with a bird flipped in the crowd’s direction. Across from him Ace stares a hole right through him, his intensity written across his face. Riddick notices it and reacts in the only way that seems appropriate…he gives him a double high sign before laughing in his face. Ace looks at him with a disgusted expression but doesn’t react any further.
DM: A little head game played there by Riddick. It didn’t look like Ace was at all impressed.
JB: Nope, it looked like he irritated him a little.
Riddick walks up to Ace and holds the PPW Television Title up in his face, pointing at it and smirking. He holds it there for a few seconds before backing up and making a “no, no, no” gesture with his right pointer finger. He hands the belt to the referee and stands with his arms folded across his chest, the smirk still on his face. Ace walks out into center ring to face him but stops about half a foot from him and smiles himself, somewhat to the confusion of Riddick who responds with “What the hell are you smiling at ??!!”. Ace stands silently for a moment before his right hand flies up and he buried a solid punch into Riddick’s jaw, staggering the equally sized man but not taking him from his feet. Ace immediately presses his advantage, walking up to Riddick and drilling him in the jaw two more times before backing away and yanking Riddick violently out of the corner by his arm.
DM: So far Ace is off to a very strong start.
Ace uses Riddick’s own momentum against him and pulls him into a lariat so stiff that it makes everyone in the first four rows wince in agony at the sound of flesh smacking roughly into flesh. Riddick starts to go down, his head jerking backwards violently but never makes it to the canvas because Ace immediately yanks up on his arm, pulling him back up into a modified bearhug. He holds the move for a few seconds, squeezing down on Riddick’s back and smiling, yelling into his ears. Riddick tries to force his way out of it but cannot do so because Ace is of equal size and strength to him. After a minute or two of the bearhug method Ace arches his back and then lunges downward viciously, driving Riddick into the mat with a vicious spinebuster that causes the ring to shake. He stands up to a thunderous cheer as Riddick writhes in pain, clutching at his back and wincing.
DM: Nice move by Ace. That spinebuster seems to have done some degree of damage to Riddick.
JB: No kidding. Now we just have to see if he’s going to focus on it or just settle for a general beating.
DM: You don’t have to be sarcastic Jesy.
Ace bends over to pull Riddick up only to be kicked in the knee. The move staggers him a little and causes him to bend over, reflexively clutching at his knee. As he does so Riddick grabs his head and goes for a quick roll up. The ref leaps around the two of them and drops to the canvas.
DM: A roll up by Riddick !! One…two…
JB: No siree bob ! Ace just kicked out and by the look on his face he looks even angrier now !
Ace leaps to his feet as Riddick stands up and backs up a couple of steps with his arms across his chest and a smirk on his face. He points at his head and says “A little too smart for you” before backing up a step. Ace looks at him and grins, although there is absolutely no mirth in his smile. The two advance on each other and go for a tie up but instead of tying up Riddick ducks under Ace’s arms and kicks him square in the middle of his back. Ace bends over backwards from it and Riddick leaps up, driving Ace into the canvas onto the back of his head and his upper shoulders with an inverted rocker dropper. Ace lands hard and in some degree of obvious pain from the angle of impact. Riddick immediately gets to his feet and stands over Ace, laughing at him and taunting him.
DM: Come on Riddick, that’s not necessary !
JB: Apparently he thinks it is, and why not ? He just totally reversed the course of the match with that move. What’s wrong with a little celebration ?
DM: That’s not celebration, that’s mockery !
JB: You say “po-tay-toe” and I say “po-tah-toe”….speaking of which, that’s making me hungry. Hold on a minute…I need some nachos.
Jesy stands up and walks away from the announcers table, leaving Donovan shaking his head in irritation at his broadcast colleague’s behavior. Inside the ring Riddick is stomping the daylights out of Ace, driving boot after boot into his head and stomach. The referee gets between them and attempts to force Riddick to step away but only gets shoved away with one hand by Riddick for the effort. The referee falls to the canvas with an angry look on his face and immediately gets back up, walking over to Riddick and beginning a standing five count. At four Riddick finally stops and steps away, taunting both the referee and the crowd, some of who are booing him but most of who cheer him, much to his disgust. He raises his hands and flags the crowd off and then turns back to Ace.
DM: Riddick can’t let the crowd’s reaction get to him. He has Ace down, but taking all of this time could let him recover.
Riddick turns around to find Ace and does just that, finding Ace’s arms wrapped around his head and arm. Ace smiles viciously at Riddick for a moment and then stands up onto his toes and arches his back, lifting Riddick up and over and releasing him, sending him crashing to the canvas onto his head with a perfectly executed Tazzplex. Ace doesn’t allow Riddick any time to recover; he immediately starts stomping away on him. He stomps him a few times and then pulls him to his feet, wrapping an arm around his head and almost throwing Riddick over him and into the canvas with a crisp snap suplex. Ace rolls over him and pulls him to his feet again, once again driving him into the canvas with another perfect snap suplex. This time he gets to his feet but staggers backwards a little and clutches at the back of his head, looking a little dizzy.
DM: The impact from that rocker dropper may have had more effect on Ace than he or any of us thought.
Ace shakes it off and walks over to Riddick, pulling him to his feet and lifting him up across his shoulders. He walks in a circle for a few moments then throws Riddick up over his shoulders and flips him over, grabbing him around the neck and waist and driving him back first across his knee. Riddick bounces off Ace’s knee and clutches at his back. He doesn’t get any time to recover; Ace immediately drops a knee into his lower back then drops to the mat and hooks an arm around his neck and waist and rolls him over, pulling down on his neck and digging his knees into Riddick’s back.
DM: That was a nice transfer into that surfboard.
Ace wrenches back on Riddick, bending back hard to maximize the pressure on his back and neck. Riddick yells in pain but repeatedly refuses to submit when the referee asks him. Ace holds the move on and continues to pull on Riddick, placing immense stress on his back and neck. Riddick repeatedly refuses to submit and eventually Ace breaks the hold, leaving Riddick writhing in agony on the mat. Ace walks away from him and shakes out his neck again, trying to get the pain from the rocker dropper. He turns from stretching out and finds Riddick on his feet, glaring angrily at him. The two men walk up to each other and begin to grapple, neither man gaining an advantage because of their equal size and weight. After a few moments of it the Ace pushes forward to grapple by Riddick sidesteps him and kicks him in the back of the knee again, this time grabbing him around the neck and leaping over him into a sit out stunner. Riddick immediately leaps back to his feet and hauls Ace to his feet and double underhooking him. He pulls Ace off the mat and lifts him up, holding him in the air for a few seconds before dropping him to the mat and slamming him down onto his back with a stiff tiger bomb. Riddick doesn’t give him a chance to recover, he immediately hauls him to his feet and pulls Ace up into a standing suplex before drilling him into the canvas with a stiff brainbuster. He stands up and gets an evil smirk across his face then kicks Ace square in the face.
DM: Come on !! This kid has no respect for anyone !
A sound comes across as Jesy scurries back into his seat with a large steaming container of nachos and a giant soda. He looks at Donovan with a big goofy grin on his face.
JB: Damn these nachos are good ! What did I miss ?
DM: Just about the entire match Jesy.
JB: Really ? That’s a shame, but at least these nachos are top flight.
Donovan shakes his head in disgust but doesn’t say anything. Inside the ring Riddick hauls Ace to his feet and positions him for a piledriver. He lifts him up and hooks his arms around Ace’s waist then leaps up and drops to his knees, driving Ace into the mat onto the top of his head. Ace lands hard and lays out flat on the mat but gets no time to recover; Riddick hauls him back to his feet and laughs, pulling Ace back into the piledriver. He laughs loudly and leaps up, driving Ace into the mat again. Ace lands hard and sprawls out across the canvas, clearly in immense pain and almost unconscious. Riddick stands up and smiles, bending over to slap Ace in the back of the head. He hauls Ace up again and wraps his arms around his waist again.
DM: Come on Riddick ! Not again ! You’ve already landed two, what do you want to do…permanently injure the man ??!!
JB: It almost looks that way. Riddick seems to really want to send a message to everyone.
DM: He could seriously injure Ace here, that’s totally unnecessary !
JB: He doesn’t seem to see it that way. Maybe he’s trying to really impress Mr. Dinucci and Mr. Melling.
DM: Dinucci would encourage this, he doesn’t care about the wrestlers careers. He just cares about power.
Riddick leaps up and lands a third leaping piledriver on Ace, laughing loudly as he gets back to his feet. He faces the crowd and makes thumbs down gesture with his right hand. He pulls Ace to his feet and hoists him up over his shoulders, turning around the ring so that everyone can see him. He smiles and then swings him out and sits down, slamming Ace into the mat with a hard powerslam.
DM: The Riddikule ! Finally he’s putting his abuse to an end !
Riddick stands over Ace and places his foot onto Ace’s chest, smiling as he does so. The referee drops to the mat and counts the academic three count.

Vregen Kristi
vs. The Dark Lotus
Voice: Opportunity , opportunity, opportunity…
DM: What the hell?
The voice is heard throughout the arena and the fans turn their attention to the Purepaintron. On the screen President Mike Melling is stood looking out at the crowd.
MM: You know, it was opportunity that brought me to PPW. A weekly column on the PPW Website set me on my way to becoming PPW’s 3 rd President in a year. I took my time and I waited until I saw the opportunity to get back into the front office of a major wrestling organisation. I took my opportunity to take control of this federation, so tonight… I am offering PPW’s Ying and Yang an… Opportunity .
The crowd are confused, as are the commentators.
MM: Tonight the Ying, and debutant in tonight’s penultimate match is Vregen Kristi and she is taking on Yang… In his 18 th PPW bout… our former World Heavyweight Champion… The Dark Lotus! They are opposites and in this very match, I decree that the winner will next week get a shot at the PPW Television Champion!
The crowd pop at the announcement of this upcoming match!
DM: My god Jesy, this is huge! The winner of the match this week will next week step up to the plate against Riddick Andrews! What a fantastic series of events we have seen tonight!
JB: I know dude, we’ve seen 4 great matches so far and now we have an impromptu number 1 contender’s match!
"Girls and Boys" by Fear Cult hits and the crowd begin to boo and jeer the cocky and arrogant young women from Detroit . She makes her way out from the back out into the open. The crowd continue to boo as she walks down the ramp and rolls into the ring. She gets to her feet and looks at the crowd with disgust.
DM: This newcomer looks angry and ready to fight!
JB: Man she’s hot… how big do you think those…
DM: Anyway… We’re awaiting the entrance of The Dark Lotus!
"Dead Bodies Everywhere" by KoRn hits as The Dark Lotus walks into the arena with all the lights turned off. The only light is that from the stairway, the sky boxes and the dim spotlight on Lotus. Lotus walks to the ring and steps over the top rope, as he does this the ring fills with smoke.
DM: You know what Jesy? Sometimes this guy is just pure demonic!
JB: I know… where those Charmed witches be at? We got a demon to you can vanquish in those lil’ skimpy outfits you wear…
DM: Stop smoking!
Lotus removes his entrance attire and turns only to be caught full in the face with a lariat into the corner. Kristi turns and grips TDL’s head before smashing his face into the ground with a bulldog! She quickly makes the cover…
1… 2… hardly a 2 count before Lotus kicks out!
The 2 competitors jump to their feet, Kristi nails Lotus with 3 right hands before a forth staggers him against the ropes. She whips him into the far side of the ring and drops him with a clothesline. TDL isn’t down for long before he climbs back to his feet only to be caught with a Back Brain kick!
1… 2… NO! Lotus got his shoulder up!
DM: This match has started very high impact Jesy!
JB: Just how I always liked it Michaels… I heard you like it high impact in the bedroom.
DM: Well, that’s what I’ve been told…
JB: Yup, that Philippino kid was limping all the way to the terminal…
Lotus gets to his feet as Kristi kicks him in the gut… She hooks her arm for a hip toss and then hooks her leg over the back of Lotus’s head. He stands up lifting Kristi in the air… She hooks her other leg over his shoulder and attempts a Shoulder Spin Rana! The Lotus, however, reverses the move flipping her over onto her feet. She runs at Lotus who lifts his right boot into the air dropping her onto her back!
DM: Vicious big boot by the powerful Lotus taking Vregen Kristi down!
JB: She could go do...
DM: Jesy you’re gunna have a law suit slapped on your ass…
JB: She could slap my a…
DM: For the love of god jesy…
JB: She could love my g…
DM: Jesy gives head for crack!
JB: HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIND THAT OUT!?
Meanwhile, in the ring, Lotus has taken control with a series of quick moves. A body slam, a pump handle slam and a death valley driver all culminate with The Dark Lotus making his first pin cover of the evening.
1… 2… NO! Vregen gets her shoulder up!
Lotus gets frustrated and stands… He stretches out his arm signalling for The Pits of Hell… He wraps his big hand around her neck and begins shouting into her face. 3 quick kicks to the gut forces Lotus to release his grip as Vregen runs off the ropes. Lotus ducks a clothesline and turns just in time to slap his hand around her neck one more time. He lifts her into the air and smashes her to the mat with a devastating chokeslam!
1… 2… 3! ITS OVER TDL WINS!
DM: NO! WAIT! Kristi got her shoulder up! The referee is telling Lotus that he just got a 2 count.
Lotus looks angry and gets to his feet; he climbs out of the ring and begins searching for weapons. He lifts up the apron and pulls out a sledgehammer and a steel chair. He slides both into the ring and smiles… He picks up the hammer and holds it in his hands… Kristi gets to her knees and looks up at him… He holds the hammer head in his hand before driving it into her shoulder!
DM: MY GOD! HE COULD HAVE BROKEN HER COLLAR BONE, DISLOCATED A SHOULDER… ANYTHING!
She falls to the mat and kicks her legs in agony as Lotus drops the hammer… He quickly makes the cover.
1… 2… NO! She shows no quit and kicks out!
Lotus slaps the mat in anger. He climbs to his feet and grabs the steel chair and lifts it up in the air willing her to get up. She gets to her knees once more, favouring that shoulder slightly. Lotus walks towards his opponent before she lifts her arm up and connects with his groin… He drops the chair to the ground as she gets to her feet.
DM: Vregen is about to kick this match up a notch Jesy!
JB: I damn well hope so!
She stands up and stands over the fallen TDL. She runs off the ropes and nails a head scissors takedown, TDL bounces up almost straight away. As earlier, she attempts the Shoulder Spin Rana this time, however, she nails it! TDL is groggy as he gets to his feet again. Vregen grabs the steel chair and swings connecting fully with Lotus’s skull!
1… 2… NO! Lotus kicks out of the pin after the chair shot!
Vregen slaps the mat before climbing to the top rope. She looks out at the crowd before jumping off and nailing the Phoenix Splash!
1… 2… NO! Lotus kicks out again!
DM: I think Vregen is getting frustrated Jesy…
JB: I could help her with that…
DM: You’re becoming worse than Jim Grande…
JB: …………… my god, I need to lay off the weed…
Vregen stands up and surveys the scene around her… She lifts Lotus to his feet and hooks his head on her shoulder. She runs towards the corner and steps up the turnbuckles, she spins the hold around and attempts to nail a stunner like move however, Lotus holds onto the ropes and Vregen is sent across the ring on her back! Lotus begins to loosen the cobwebs.
DM: Vregen landed hard but look, she has hold of that sledgehammer!
JB: Dude, that’s dangerous…
Vregen gets to her feet and staggers around. Lotus steps forwards and lifts her into a powerslam position. He shifts her weight and sets her up for The Darkness! Vregen, however, still has that sledgehammer in hand
DM: That’ll be all she wrote Jesy!
JB: She had a great start to her career here too!
As Lotus is about to drop Vregen on her head, she begins pummelling him in the kidney’s with the sledgehammer… 5 shots is enough to send Lotus falling backwards bringing Vregen’s weight down on top of him. His head bounces off the mat as the referee gets into position!
1… 2… 3! Vregen Kristi wins the match!
DM: MY GOD JESY! SHE DID IT! SHE DID IT! ON HER DEBUT VREGEN KRISTI HAS EARNED A SHOT AT THE PPW TELEVISION TITLE!
JB: I can’t believe it! And I don’t think Lotus will either…
WINNER OF THE MATCH BY PINFALL - Vregen Kristi
MM: Hold on, hold on, hold on… We have a problem here…
President Mike Melling steps out onto the rampway to a chorus of boos.
MM: Referee, if you divert your attention to the Purepaintron… have something I think you need to see.
DM: What is it Jesy? The sledgehammer shots were purely legal!
The referee looks at the tron where he sees that as Vregen and Lotus fall, Vregen’s legs land underneath the bottom rope.
MM: Now, as you can see Mr Carlson, under section 28 of the PPW Rulebook, it is a clear violation of the pinfall rule. No part of either you or your opponents body may be touching the ropes or outside the confines of the ring.
The referee nods and moves to restart the match.
MM: Woah, woah, woah… Hold your horses there Adrian … I said this match was about offering opportunities, not taking them away. That is why I decree that next Mutilation, live from the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Vregen Kristi WILL get her shot at the PPW TV Title and she will receive the win for this match. However, 2 weeks later at the final Mutilation before Conquest… Lotus will get HIS shot at the winner of that match. Rest assured though, the matter of this match is not settled. As at Conquest, whether it is for the PPW TV Title or not… Vregen Kristi and The Dark Lotus will go 1 on 1 inside a 15 foot high steel cage. You all have a good night, and thank you very much! Enjoy our main event!
The scene opens up inside the office of Mike Melling. He is sat at his desk reading some sort of letter. There is a knock on the door.
MM: Come in!
The door opens and in walks Johnny Dinucci.
MM: At least you knocked this time.
JD: Oh I thought it wouldn’t hurt to offer a small amount of courtesy before I begin to make your life a living hell. I take it that you received a letter this morning?
MM: The letter informing us both that a decision has been made on the next Chairman of the Pure Pain Wrestling Board of directors. Yes, I received it, I’m just reading the letter I received this morning!
Dinucci snatches the letter out of Melling’s hand with a smirk on his face. He quickly begins to scan the page before his face turns. A look akin with that when you take a huge gulp of soar milk.
JD: But you said…
MM: I said that I had received the letter about the decision that had been made, I received that letter yesterday. The letter you hold in your hands, the letter that I received this morning is a letter from the PPW Board of directors thanking me for my application to become the PPW Chairman…
JD: You!? CHAIRMAN!? I WAS THE ONLY REAL APPLICANT FOR THE JOB! THE REST HAD BEEN SET UP TO FOOL THE BOARD INTO THINKING THEY HAD A DAMN CHOICE!
MM: Well now they do… They have a choice between you and me. And the announcement will be made where it has been planned on being made all along. Live on Pay-Per-View from Conquest… Oh, and read the last paragraph.
Dinucci’s eyes scan the page again…
JD: You have got to be kidding me… This whole thing is becoming a god damned nightmare… I do not believe this…
MM: That’s right Johnny, the Board of Directors have asked someone very special to come along to announce who the new Chairman of the Board is… Your friend and mine… Quentin Barnes!
The crowd explode in unison at the mention of the former PPW President! Dinucci drops the letter on Melling’s desk and turns… Leaving the office without a word as we fade to commercial.
MAIN EVENT
REGULAR TAG TEAM MATCH
Riddick Andrews & Harmony Taylor vs. James Spyder & Colin Zale
DM: Well folks it's that time... time for the main event of the evening, the tag team match-up between Riddick Andrews and Harmony Taylor, and James Spyder and Colin Zale...
JB: Yeah I've been lookin' forward to this one all night, Michaels... There's a real intensity surrounding Zale and Andrews at the moment, and I think that could explode in this contest tonight.
DM: That could turn out to be very true Jesy... Let's go down to the action.
The arena falls in to complete darkness as "Reload" by Rob Zombie is cued up onto the PA system at the Edison International Field. The word "RELOAD" is echoed throughout the complex, and as the drums kick in, pyrotechnics shoot from either side of the entranceway, and Colin Zale slowly, but purposefully, saunters on to the ramp.
The crowd erupt for the legend, as he slowly reaches the foot of the ramp. He then rolls into the ring via the bottom rope, and looks out over the crowds that have gathered here in Anaheim.
DM: These fans in Anaheim are goin' crazy for Colin Zale!
"Reload" is quickly ended, as "Ticks & Leeches" by Tool starts up. Again the lights escape, and the crowd fall into complete darkness. James Spyder's silhouette can be seen engulfing the only light at the top of the stage area. He walks out on to the ramp as the lights reappear. He walks down the ramp and enters the ring via the middle rope. He approaches Zale, and the two friends shake hands.
DM: The respect these two guys have for each other is overwhelming, Jesy. They've been through a whole lot together, and man it's good to see this kind of embrace in wrestling.
JB: I totally agree... I know I haven't always been Spyder's biggest fan, but the guy is a huge asset to PPW, and the industry in general. Colin Zale's name speaks for him - he is a true legend, and both these guys are receiving the applause they truly deserve...
DM: That was rather inciteful for you, Jesy...
JB: Yeah I know, I have the munchies...
DM: What does that have to do with it?!
JB: I agree...
DM: Ladies and gentlemen, Jesy Blue has officially become insane...
As "Ticks & Leeches" fades out to nothing, the crowd ready themselves for the opponents.
Sevendust's "Bitch" bellows out of the speakers, as Harmony Taylor steps out on to the ramp. Spyder's Maulprod partner walks to the bottom of the ramp, then enters the ring via the steps. As she enters, she is approached by Spyder, who whispers something in her ear.
DM: Friendly words there Jess?
JB: Who knows...
"Can't Stop" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers hits as Riddick Andrews heads out onto the ramp. The crowd explode as he makes his way to the ring. His eyes never come into contact with the crowd as if shunning the pop. He rolls into the ring and jumps to his feet, he then walks to each side of the ring with a bird flipped in the crowds direction, holding his precious TV title aloft.
DM: And here's the PPW TV champion, Riddick Andrews! You can feel the intensity between Zale and Andrews, Jesy...
JB: That you can, and as I said earlier I think this one could be chaotic.
Riddick and Harmony talk between them about who will start the match. But Colin Zale is already in the ring, demanding that Riddick start the match. Riddick looks out to the crowds, who are demanding along with Zale. But Riddick reluctantly tries to leave the ring. Harmony, however, grabs his trunks and tells him to start the match.
DM: It's gonna be Riddick vs. DM: It's gonna be Riddick vs. Zale straight from the word "go" here Blue!
JB: Not if Riddick has anything to do with it!
Eventually Riddick enters the ring, and starts the match with Colin Zale. But as soon as the bell sounds, Riddick turns 360 and blind tags Harmony in to the match!
DM: Oh my God! What a complete loser! He doesn't have the guts to face Zale one-on-one, so he tagged in Harmony instead!
JB: Smart tactics though I'd say... playing mind games with Zale.
Zale shrugs his shoulders and gives of a wry grin as he starts the ball rolling with Taylor instead. And it's Zale who gets the early advantage. He Irish Whips Harmony off of the ropes and hits a Drop Toe Hold on the return. Harmony's face smashes into the canvas, as Riddick looks on. Zale then picks Taylor up off the mat and hits an Orton Neckbreaker, sending Harmony southwards again.
DM: Early domination is by Zale then Jesy, and if Harmony isn't careful, this match could be over in a hurry!
JB: You ain't wrong there, Don... Harmony could really do with gettin' Riddick in there for a while.
Zale goes over to his corner and tags in James Spyder, who receives a deafening cheer from the Californian crowd!
DM: Spyder's fellow Californian's are goin' crazy for him here, Jess...!
Spyder picks up Harmony and hits a two-handed Chokeslam!
JB: That was a power move by James there!
Spyder then follows it up with a T-Bone suplex, and a falling Neckbreaker. He then goes for a cover...
One... Two... Thr-... kick-out by Harmony after the 2-count. She tries to roll over to her corner, but is stopped in her tracks by Spyder. The Bloodgames champion then executes a Release German Suplex, sending Harmony crashing in to the canvas yet again. Spyder then goes for another pin...
One... Two... but another kick-out by Taylor!
DM: Great resilience shown here by Harmony - she's refusing to give up!
Spyder again goes after Harmony, but Harmony manages to connect with a Low Blow, putting Spyder out of commission temporarily.
JB: Great shot by Taylor, now she HAS to try and get Andrews in here!
Harmony crawls slowly over to her corner and reaches out a hand, but she isn't quite close enough for Riddick to reach it. At the same time, Spyder is crawling over to his corner, trying to tag in Colin Zale.
DM: Ah man! This is intense stuff! Who will get to their partner first?!
JB: Well Riddick best be hoping that Harmony reaches him before James reaches Zale!
And as Jesy finishes his sentence, Harmony springs forward and slaps hands with Riddick, making the TV champion the legal man in the match.
DM: It's Riddick!
But simultaneously, Zale is tagged in by Spyder, and as Riddick realises this, he quickly tries to turn around and run. But Zale is aware of it, and quickly grabs Riddick, stopping him in his tracks.
JB: Uh-oh... Riddick's in serious trouble now, Michaels!
DM: It certainly seems that way - Zale finally has his hands on him!
Zale issues a Chickenwing Piledriver, followed by a Northern Lights Driver.
DM: "A FINE WAY TO DIE" perfectly executed by Colin Zale! Riddick's in a world of hurt!
Zale then goes for the cover on Andrews...
One... Two... but the count is broken up by Harmony Taylor!
JB: What in the Hell...?!
As this happens, Spyder enters the ring, and all four superstars slug it out - Riddick and Spyder, Harmony and Zale. Both Spyder and Zale begin to get the better of their opponents, until Riddick eventually hits Spyder with an Evenflow DDT. With Spyder down, Riddick drops to the outside and grabs from under the ring... a table! He then clambers back in, before climbing to the top rope (with Spyder in-tow).
DM: This doesn't look good...
On the other side of the ring, Colin Zale has Harmony right where he wants her. But she quickly rolls out of the ring to the outside, and she begins to crawl up the ramp towards the backstage area.
JB: Harmony's running away!
DM: I doubt it, Jesy. I think she's buyin' herself some time...
Meanwhile, Riddick sets James Spyder up on the top of the turnbuckle, then looks over to Colin Zale, who now has Harmony at the top of the ramp in a Styles Clash position.
DM: Oh this looks bad... This looks VERY bad!
Riddick Andrews then leaps from the turnbuckle and hits Spyder with the Riddickule - a Fireman's Carry into a Sit-out Powerslam! And at the same time, Colin Zale launches himself off the ramp, hitting Harmony with a Sit-out Styles Clash!
DM: THE RIDDICKULE!!! NO RESURRECTION!!! OH MY GOD THERE'S PANDEMONIUM IN CALIFORNIA!!!
JB: Both men trying to send a message to the other at the same time!
The referee calls for the bell - the decision is a double countout for Colin Zale and Harmony Taylor.
MATCH ENDS IN A DOUBLE COUNTOUT
DM: No winner!
Riddick Andrews climbs to the middle turnbuckle and looks up the ramp at Colin Zale, who looks right back at Andrews.
DM: These fans are going wild here! This is far from over, Jesy!
JB: It's only just gettin' started by the looks of things!
The show goes off the air as the two men glare at one another.
