Shadow
Shadow's older brother's all had God-Like powers, and even his twin sister had developed a rather powerful ability as well, while Shadow himself was very short on the magickal side of things. Though his ability with weapons far surpassed his older siblings, due to there powers, they would always win in a duel.
At a young age, Shadow's parents died, and left the mortal world, returning to the realm of the gods together. At this time, His older brothers had already left to become generals in an army, while his sister had just left to become a royal dancer. Shadow did not know what he wanted to do, but put good use to his ability to read and write and became somewhat of a scribe to the king he was loyal to. Once the king noticed the young boy's combat ability, he quickly made Shadow one of his royal knights and had him trained properly, and skillfully in many melee combats.
A few years later, when war broke out, Shadow's king was slain, and Shadow was blamed for the murder.
Spending many years chained to a wall, Shadow's body had become a little less human, and more demonic like his siblings. Although Shadow was never truly his name, he had thrown away his true name when his king had fallen, and declared himself as Shadow.
Chained helplessly to a wall, he soon lost hope. Then, one day, he heard a commotion just above his prison, and was soon put in the presence of what may end up to be his true destiny.
