Charnath glanced over to his side, where a couple of blue dragons crooned at the blue female as they watched her. Chielath glanced out at them before darting her head back behind her bond's wing.
Charnath's eyes narrowed, whirling with red. He shot a menacing glare at the two males, who creeled in surprise as they left hurriedly. He glanced back at Chielath. Her eyes were still whirling with yellow, and her dark hide was beginning to glow blue.
Charnath shook his head. Come on, Chielath. I think it's time we took a nice, long vacation, away from Darkling Dawn. Then those males won't bother you. Does that sound good? The red dragon asked gently.
Chielath nodded her head slowly. Where will we go, then? She asked, cheering up.
Charnath tilted his head thoughtfully, careful to keep his thoughts closed from his bond. Somewhere far away, where not many males would go out of their way to chase. He wouldn't let just any dragon catch his beautiful bond, that was for sure!
