"You've gotta be kidding me!" Calais groaned when he heard what they were supposed to do. "An easter egg hunt?"
They were supposed to go out and find the hidden eggs, and bond them when they hatched. Nevertheless, he set off with the other candidates. He didn't come all this way here for nothing.
Calais ran off as Izumi followed from above. Another girl was running in front of him. As fast as he was, he couldn't catch up to her. Quickly, he transformed and dashed past the girl. She just stared behind her in confusion.
Calais mentally grinned as he rushed past the girl. Rabbits were much faster than humans. Unfortunately, he failed to see the egg hidden in the dunes, which was what the girl was heading to. Oblivious, Calais raced on towards the beach.
He still couldn't find any eggs. He turned back into a human and sighed. He looked around him. Well, it was quite nice here. All it needed was a few palm tre-Calais stopped, and stared at something in the water. It definitely looked like an egg.
He raced down to it, and sure enough, a deep blue egg lay in the water as the tide washed over it. He was relieved to see it had not suffered any from being underwater.
"Is there anyone in here?" He asked. In response, the egg began to rock slowly, and a crack appeared. Calais helped to pull the crack open and finally managed to pull a dark blue dragon out of the egg. The indigo bunny dragon lifted his head up and looked into his eyes. Thanks, Calais. My name is Konivan.
Calais smiled and shrugged. "What were you doing in the sea?" He asked the hatchling.
Konivan just shrugged. I dunno. But now I'm hungry, and cold.
"C'mon then. We'll go back to Lantessama now."
