Two women stood outside of a castle invisible to the world around them. Knights passed by them, not touching nor noticing them. One had long straight black hair down past her back and chalky pale skin. Her eyes seemed a demonic black, emitting a strange dark aura from them. She wore a long black cloak covering her black dress. It was similar to a Greek God’s toga but black and a golden belt around her waist, hanging off of one hip. The other girl had mix of blonde and brown hair. It was to the middle of her back with long bangs. Her skin was a tanned color with cat like green eyes. She wore a strange princess like dress. It was white with a corset like top that flowed down into ruffles. The ruffles in the front ended right above her knees while the back flowed to the ground. A white lace choker hung around her neck and lacey white gloves covered her fingers. A small white kitten sat on her shoulders, sitting up, staring at the different people. “So what are we doing again, Dark Goddess?” The blonde girl asked. “It’s called Divine Judgment. We are here to survey the planet, seeing if it’s hostile or not. As you recall when Hope was attacked, there are many planets in this realm that are constantly conquered. We’re here to seeing if this planet is one those types of planets, and if it is, I’ll either have to get rid of it or make it another colony planet like Hope City is. Understand, Selene?” Selene nodded then shook her head. “So how do we decide?” Dark Goddess nodded as she moved her hand to the right as a knight ran past her. “Well little Leni, we’ll observe the planet as a whole for a bit, as well as one individual life and decide from that. Then we vote, majority wins.” “Majority?” she said confused. Selene looked around left to right then at the kitten on her shoulders. “Is Kitty voting?” Dark Goddess arched an eyebrow then sighed. “No, Nyvia will be here soon enough. Who knows what that tramp is up to… Now be a good girl and go find someone as our specimen.” Selene nodded then walked off gracefully. Selene stepped outside the castle gates and found herself in a medieval looking town. She blinked then shrugged, “I don’t think they’ll want to get rid of this place…” She walked onto the stone paved streets and wondered in the crowds. The town was quite big with three districts; the entertainment district to the right, the industrial district to the left, and the center being shopping. Selene headed to her right, looking for someone to catch her interest, which was soon stolen by two puppets fighting one another to the side of the busy streets. As she and other children watched the wooden puppets dance for them, she felt a bump against her shoulder. Kitty fell forward onto a man who caught her. Selene fell to the ground, wincing. “I’m sorry, Miss.” Selene looked up at the man holding her kitten. He was much taller than her, 5’10 , with an athletic build. His brownish orange hair was short but messy with blue eyes. His skin was a very tanned color from the skin, it looked like it came from being in the sun too much. His clothing was nothing special, leather pants, cloth shirt, and leather shoes, all a bit dirty with sweat. He offered his hand to Selene who happily took it. As she stood up dusting herself, Kitty jumped back to her shoulder, looking at the man. “Are you okay?” he asked Selene looked down at herself then nodded. “Nothing’s broken.” He nodded then frowned, “I’m truly sorry, Miss.” Selene waved her hand nonchantly, “Oh don’t worry. Umm, what’s your name?” He blinked a bit confused, feeling a bit scared deep inside. “Michael.” Selene nodded then grabbed the ends of the front of her dress then curtseyed, “I’m Selene Dendawga. It’s nice to meet you.” He stood there shocked, she seemed to act like nobility and dressed like it. Quickly he fell to his knees, attracting attention to the both of them. “Please for give me, Lady Selene!” Selene blushed, looking around. Her hands clasped her face, trying to cover her flushed cheeks. “Dark Goddess isn’t going to be happy if she sees this,” she lowly whispered to Kitty. Kitty nodded and meowed as she looked at Michael. Selene knelt down to him and nudged him. “Can you please stop…this looks bad.” He stood up and nodded, “Please don’t have me killed.” Selene coughed as well as her kitten. “What?!” she yelped. Selene shook her head then sighed, “Ah, I’m not that mean. I would never kill anyone for just bumping me. Can we just stop this?” He nodded, sighing with relief then looked up at the sky. “Oh my god, I’m late!” He ran off quickly after that. Selene stood there confused with her finger on her lip. “Shall we follow him, Kitty?” Kitty nodded then the girl walked back into the busy streets. Selene followed Michael to an opera house. Sneakily, she hid in the hallways as he found himself a seat in the middle of an almost empty room. As she stood there watching him watch a woman sing, a man tapped her shoulder. She jumped, shocked. “Excuse me, Miss, but if you want, I’ll escort you to your seat. The bottom is meant for commoners. You’re to be seated upstairs.” Selene nodded then walked towards the stairs, quickly finding herself a seat at the top near the balcony and stared down at Michael. He seemed to be enthroned in one of the actresses, the lead one. She giggled, then jumped as she felt someone touch her. As she turned back, she saw Dark Goddess standing behind her, arms crossed. “Ah, hello.” Selene said nervously. “I assume you found someone?” Selene nodded then pointed down at Michael. Dark Goddess nodded then turned around. “Come on now, Nyvia’s here.” Selene nodded then looked down at Michael and smiled before running to catch up.
