Dark Light LRP Updates 21 / 7 / 07 MEMBERSHIPS Just a quick announcement regarding the memberships of Dark Light LRP. As the Vampire game has been wound up and the new Twilight game is only in "playtest" stage at the moment, all memberships will be frozen throughout August and September. Once the new game starts "proper" then memberships will resume. VAMPIRE LRP After running a Vampire game for nearly 6 years in Brighton, we've taken the decision to wind the game up. We feel that whilst the game was still fun, a number of factors such as dwindling player numbers, and lack of expansion meant that the life-span was limited and that we'd rather wind the game up on a high point. Don't worry though, we're already planning our next event which will take its place. Provisionally named Twilight, the game is another modern horror with a similar feel to the Vampire game, but with more PC races available and a brand new setting. Twilight takes its influences from the RPG "Nightlife", the White Wolf World of Darkness and Sergei Lukyanenko's "Nightwatch" series of books. We're predicting the game will be part "action horror", part "court room drama" and is certainly one of the more innvative projects we've worked on. We'll be looking to play-test Twilight over the next couple of months The Vampire web-pages have been left where they are for the time being BRIGHTON BELOW Dark Light LRP's latest project Brighton Below is running its next event on Saturday 18th of August at the Brighton Unitarian Church.
