I felt a lot of the swelling go down during this period. Started to have a bit of trouble with Rice and Chicken breast. I have found that Basmati Rice is the best and has a low glycemic index so it will take longer to convert to energy which is a good thing.

I have been cutting my chicken extremely finely and putting this on a sandwich with a lot of low fat colslaw dressing.

Didnt lose that much weight but it was good preparation for things to come

Saw the Doctor today. I have lost just as much as I did in three months prior so I am really happy. However, I noticed a real tightning of the band after my second fill.

I was very silly. My doctor told me not to eat solids for 48 hours. However about 26 hours after the fill we had a free seafood platter dropped off to my work. It had salmon steaks grilled in a seafood sauce with cracked pepper. Tiger prawns also grilled in a seafood sauce. Calamari and Muscles. I think it was the Calamari that did it. Its very chewy. I was pbing for about 48 hours everything and had to go back to fluids to let things settle down.

For the first two week I PBed every day. For the last two weeks though it has only happened about once every three or four days.. My doctor says I am near the right amount of fill and that the band will loosen a bit over time so I may need about another half of the fill. Anyway I am happy with the progress.I now need to really chew and watch what I eat and drink plenty of protein shakes to get the required protein..
