Faulkner and the South

In time, I plan to have synopses and interpretations of Faulkner's novels here. In my opinion, the greatest novel ever written is Absalom, Absalom (but, of course, Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind is still my favorite). Faulkner showed every possible viewpoint of the South in his writings, and I hope to impart a similar vision through my interpretation of the literature.

Faulkner's South

--read an old college paper I wrote on Faulkner's vision(s) of the South. The format is not what I would like it to be as of yet because I have had trouble trying to convert the text from an old Wordperfect document to something readable online. The footnotes did not follow the text during my conversion, but hopefully I will get the footnotes (or endnotes) incorporated into the document soon. The cited works at the end are also not all-inclusive of my sources. Please bear in mind that this is a "history" paper and not a "literary" paper. Should anyone wish to cite anything from this paper in his/her own work, please e-mail me and I will be more than happy to provide my name and further information.
