Wind Waker Walthrough

Well, I promised a walkthrough and here you go. I'm just getting into the game, so I'll be updating here and in the Items and Weapons page mostly. Well, Look below to the walkthrough. AND BE CAREFUL, spoilers are inside of this walkthrough. Don't say I didn't tell you.

It all starts off as Link, a boy from the island of Outset, has turned 12 today. As tradition mentions, when you become of age, you will don the new outfit and wear it for one day. In the image of the hero we all know and love, Link must go to his sister, Aryll, which is in a lookout tower far above the island. It's rather easy to find. Once there, you will gain possession of her Telescope, which gives you sight beyond that of Link's normal view. This will come in handy later, so be sure to use it wisely. You will now see a little cutscene with Link and Aryll watching the sky, when they notice a strange bird up in the sky stealing young girls with pointed ears. Then, Link looks to the sea to view a pirate ship hurling boulders at the bird. One of the boulders hit him, and knocks the bird down. (house that has two storys that are conjoined through a ladder outside). That's also really easy to ind, since its close to your house. Go there and practice with Orca, and he should give you the sword. You now must go to the forest. If you don't know where that is, then you are an obvious Zelda newbie. Just make sure that you don't get beat up by the monsters in there, they are really freakishly weird, and I died to one. After you explore the perimeter of the tree that the girl fell into, she will fall out and introduce herself. Tetra is a pirate girl who commands a ship of pirates that travel the sea in search of money, money and of course...money. You decide that you wanna take a trip with these people, and you head to the Forsaken Fortress, where your sister was recently taken by the same bird that attacked Tetra. Then, go to your house, and look back to where you last saw the shield in the beginning scene. It is gone, but don't worry. Just go downstairs, and there will be yet another cutscene with you and your grandmother talking about the shield. (And yes, its spelled S-H-I-E-L-D for you illiterate people who are spelling it with the e before the i. Sorry about that, it just bugs me to see that people, rather the youth, have poor grammar these days.) Once you get the shield, go back to Tetra and the others. ou will now board their ship and start off as a "swabbie." You must now pull off a George of The Jungle by swinging from platform to platform. After this you gain a treasure called the Spooks Bag, which allows you to carry enemy weapons and such. And I stop here for today.

Argh, sorry it's been so long. I'm going to continue with the walkthrough here.

After you get off the ship to get to the Fortress, you will lose your sword, due to the Pirates' crappy aim. Then you will notice a strange rock you hold that is talking to you. It is Tetra, from before. She slipped a stone into your pocket. (God knows what she was doing down there :) ) She will say some random pointless things, then you have to brave the Fortress. This is pretty easy. Kill all the guards that are on the search lgiths first. Then, get to the hallway that has three windows you can jump out of, and on the last one, look down. Then, jump down in the area, and open the door. Jump in a barrel and avoid the guards in the following rooms, and unlock the door that's shows at the cutscene of when you walk in. Then, scale the mountain area, and you get your sword back. Kill the guard, and then you will see your sister in a cage and a big movie scene and all that stuff. Then some bird will throw you to the edge of the sea, and a ghastly shadow commands him. Then, a big red boat that can talk apporches you and puts you in. Then, it tells you of Ganondorf, which crept out of the Dark Realm which he created long ago in the Ocarina Of Time. You will also remember that he has the Triforce Of Power still within him. This will become relevant, as to about the end of the story all the Triforce's are put back together and sent back up to the Gods.

I'm on a roll here, let's keep going.

After you are finished in the Forsaken Fortress, you'll be thrown into the sea. Then you'll be picked up by this boat that can talk, which you later learn that is the King of Hyrule. Then he'll tell you that he is useless without a sail. Go into the city, and get a sail from the eskimo guy outside. He's going to charge you 80 Rupees for it, so be ready to fork it over. Then, if you need anything else in town, go ahead, but really, you don't need anything else. Just go back to your ship, and sail to the new place marked on your Sea Chart, which is Dragon Roost Island. It's not all that hard, just equip the sail and hit the button you put it on. Simple.
Then for the gehy part of the game. Go up the island (if you can't figure this out you suck) and talk to the Cheiftain or whatever (GehY) and he gives you a letter to give to his gehy kid. Then you have to go to this little girl person or whatever, and throw her on the mountain /_-; Sorry I'm so unenthusiastic here but the game is really shitty right here.
