| PSMS 1.2 tutorial by ZERO369 This is for the NTSC version, and it works fine with a Gameshark 1.93 and a neo 2.5 mod First Extract all the files in this zip to a folder Run PEFU alpha2.exe (or you can download it at http://psms.gamebase.ca), under select rom type you will see SMS/GG with a dot beside it, just leave it like that. To the right of source youll see a white box and a browse button, Find where your roms are in the box on the button of pefu, Then where it says destination click on the browse button beside the white box to the right of it. And select the directory where you extracted this zip file to. Click OK on the bottom of the screen, and it will make a files.txt in the direct that you unzipped to, (and it will put all of the roms in directories named ROMS0, ROMS1 etc., it will also rename them to 01, 02, etc instead of there filename, but in the when you go to play the emulator, the names will still be there.) anyways after its done a box should pop up saying what it renamed all the roms to. Close that box, and close PEFU. Now Open up CD/dvd generator, wich is not included because I think its illegal or something. Now click new project, and then click the dot that has CD-ROM Master Disc Beside it. And click ok Drag the files into cd/dvd gen this order from the folder that we unzipped earlier, PSMS_12.ELF, FILES.TXT, SJPCM.IRX, SYSTEM.CNF. Then you can drag all your roms folders in after that in order from 0 to however many folders you got. Thats all for dragging files in Click VIEW (from the top menu bar) , then VOLUME. In the top part called MASTER DISC INFORMATION there are 5 white boxes. For the 1st one right beside disc name type in SLUS then the box to the right of it type 69696 . then below it it says Copy right HOLDER, in the box to the right of it type in ZERO369., then to the Right of that youll see LICENSE AREA to the right of that there is a white box, click it and select America from the list. Then Above it for Producer name the white box beside it type in ZERO369 . below that there is a VOLUME IDENTIFIER section, just ignore that all the white boxes should be blank there. Then click on file from the Toolbar and click export IML file . Name it sms.iml save it to the same directory you unzipped your files to. Close off cd/dvd generator. Then go to the MS-DOS prompt from the start menu. go to the folder you unzipped your files in by using cd .. or cd (folder name). When your in it type IML2ISO sms.iml sms.iso it will create a iso, it may take a while so just sit back and relax. Once the iso is made go into cdr win ( I used 4.0A) and click the picture 2nd to the top right ( it has a screw driver and a wrench on it) For Back Up/TOOL OPEration click the white box to the right of it click the 2nd one from the top wich is RECORD AN ISO 9660 IMAGE FILE. Then we go down to ISO9660 options for IMAGE FILENAME click the to the right of the white box and find sms.iso in the folder that you unzipped your files to., click ok. Under RECORDING OPTIONS there is CDROM Recorder to the box on the right select your cdrom recorder. For Disc type click the white box and select CDROM-XA. Then for track mode click the white box beside it and select MODE2. Then for SPEED, I used 4x but it doesnt matter. There is FINALIZE/CLOSE session check the box to the left of it. Then there is write postgap check the box to the right of it. Then, insert a blank cdr into your cdrom drive, and click start. Wait for it to burn. |
