| 1) Get two small flat head screwdrivers (like the one you get in those micro screwdriver kits). 2) The front of the drive tray is simply clipped on each end... so very carefully (with the tray open) unclip it by inserting the screwdriver as shown . BE CAREFUL! Or you may one of the clips. It is much easier to with the tray open. It doesnt matter if you do snap the clips off, the front of the drawer sits on fine without the clips. |

| HOW TO OPEN THE PS2 DRIVE TRAY |
| 1) Once you unclip the front of the PS2 drive tray, there is a small hole at the bottom of where the tray was. Its about two-thirds along, if you look in there you will see a . You might have to move the PS2 under a light to see it, because it is only a small hole you're looking through. 2) Next, using a screwdriver turn the a bit at a time towards the front of the PS2. It is a bit stiff but it will turn OK. If you are turning it the right way you will see a white plate above where the disk is starting to move. Keep turning... and out pops the tray! |
| 1) Unclip the front of the PS2 drive tray and close it. If possible get a small flash light, shine a light underneath where the disk tray is, with the PS2 in the horizontal position. About one-third from right, you will see a 2) Using a plastic knife, slide the white pin to the far right, and the tray will pop out. SWAP YOUR CD NOW! 3) After you have swapped CD's, push the tray firmly back in. Using the knife, make sure the white pin has moved as far left as it can go. NOTE: These methods are a bit time-consuming (take up to 30 seconds to do), but they will SAVE YOUR WARRANTY as you will NOT have to remove the cover of your PS2 which VOIDS the sticker on it! |

| Hint: take your time while doing the knife swap beacuase you DONT want to break the white pin, dont be heavy handed with it, remember you PS2 cost alot of money! If you watch how the pin moves while the drawer is opening and closing it will help you alot. just take your time and move the pin SLOWLY, once you get the hang of it, the knife swap is a piece of piss. |
