Yugi's plays
his Dark Magician with the Magical Hats to protect
and hide it. Joey smashes through two Silk Hats,
but the third attacks hits a hat that Yugi put the
Spellbinding Circle into. Still, Yugi can't believe
how strong Joey has become in such a short time.
Yugi powers up his Dark Magician with the Book of
Secret Arts and destroys the Black Skull Dragon.
Joey plays the Baby Dragon and a card face down.
Yugi figures that the facedown card is the Time
Wizard, and tries to destroy Baby Dragon before
Joey and use the Time Wizards magic, but Joey uses
his Kunai with Chain card to immobilize the Dark
Magician.
Joey is now free to use the Time Magician. It turns
the Baby Dragon into the Thousand Dragon, and ages
the Dark Magician.
Joey attacks, but before he can claim victory, his
attack is cancelled with the Mystical Myst card.
The Baby Dragon isn't the only card that can be
aged with the Time Magician -- the Dark Magician
turns into the Dark Sage. During each turn, Yugi is
allowed to grab a Magic card from his deck.
During Yugi's next turn, he forgoes drawing a Magic
card from his deck via the Sage, and plays the card
he drew: Monster Reborn on the Black Skull Dragon.
Realizing that he has lost the match, Joey tells
Yugi everything is cool and to go on and attack.
Yugi attacks, destroying the Thousand Dragon, and
wins.
After the duel, Joey offers to hand over his prize
money card to Yugi, but he tells Joey to keep it,
and use the money for Serenity's operation. |
