She impressed the elder Tremere with her knack of things Egyptian, as well as her undeniable drive to prevail in even the harshest circumstances, and she was soon deemed a worthy candidate for apprenticeship as a ghoul.

Thirty years pasted after her Embrace, the sleep took hold of her, still to this day she is a deep sleeper. After a relatively short apprenticeship under the Hartford regent, Nyssa was introduced to what had been the true purpose behind her Embrace. Her sire was one of the secret order whose membership worshipped the serpant for its magical significance and perfection of form. With Vienna's recent success in negotiating of rights to the Egyptian Musuem and Antiquities Service, this secret society was racing to find someone who could represent their interests in what was sure to become a gold mine for the Tremere. With her close dealings with the Setites, Vienna thought it would be best to reassign her to a different chantry so she did not endanger the Clan's secrets with the Serpants.

She's currently serving out her 'punishment' in Paris, France.
