It was when Odin, Vele and Vi walking together on the woods noticed two wood logs with strange shapes (human shapes). First they stared and then understanding what could be created from there they decided to do so.
Odin's gift to the human kind was the soul, Vele gifted us with movement and the five senses and finally Vi offered us the blood and a strong, healthy body.

And so to the huma beings created from the wood logs were given the ability to think and speak, to love and hate, to work and survive, and the freedom to rule Midgard.

 The human beings are the inhabitants of Midgard until now and the Gods not forgetting they were our creator often gave their help and protection to their beloved creatures.
