( 0 ) - THE FOOL

The Fool represents a new cycle of existence. He has the potencial soon as he finds the way to release it positively. He needs objectives, he needs goals but he's not too worried about the future, just about the next step. The fool is naive and innocent and he has a lot to learn, but he wishes to learn and he's eager to try new ideas so much he tends to be too impulsive. The fool always try to keep an open mind  about the road ahead of him.

DIVINATORY MEANING: The fool represents the wish to try out new things, it also reveals that a lot of our conceptions are old and no longer useful. It's the start of a new chapter, the curiosity for the unknown. You are ready for the change, risk it even if the way is not clear yet.

CAUTION: The negative side of this card warn us against immaturity, obsession, thoughtlessness, naivety, indecision and apathy.


( I ) - THE MAGICIAN

The Magician is the one that has the ability to connect the spiritual to the physic. He controls his power well. He knows his craft and the result is harmony, the harmony between the sacred and the earthly matters. You can tell the Magician had a long way ahead of him before he reached his maestry, his perfection and now that he has obtained the power he knows how to use it and he uses it wisely.

DIVINATORY MEANING: Inventiveness and creativity. Creative energy and willpower to turn dreams into reality. It represents the translation of thought into actions with wisdom, imagination and self-sufficiency. The dominant feeling is self-confidence and the awareness of the power waiting to be transformed into creation.

CAUTION: The negative side of this arcanum is the possibilty of becoming too forceful or develop a forceful personality. Special attention for abuse of power.


( II ) - THE HIGH PRIESTESS

The High Priestess represents the spiritual world, the subconcious and the intuiton. She understands the prophecies and the hidden misteries, in fact she's the keeper of the secrets. She knows everything but only reveals anything when the time is right. She's the representation of the occult forces, the ultimate wisdom and the supreme illumination.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card reflects a deep interest for spirituality. It's time to develop the feminine power of intuition. A wise and understanding woman has a lot of influence. Try to use your intuition instead of reasoning. The keys, the solutions will be revealed in its due time. It's time for serenity, to learn how to develop physic abilities.

CAUTION: Be careful with superficiality, fault judgements, emocional problems, vindictive nature and manipulate others for egotistical purposes.


( III ) - THE EMPRESS

The Empress is the representation of the Earth Mother at it's zenit. Full of life, often represented pregnant it symbolizes abundance, purity, innocence, nature, art and fecundity. Represents the Spring, the fertility, ripeness and pregnancy. Protective Earth Mother provides the happiness, the womb, the warmth, the comfort of her care. The Empress brings with her the good sense and the reason.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This is the card of the realization. Every idea materializes and dreams come to life like babies are born... after a period of preparation and reasoning. The Empress reflects the stability in all aspects and her advice is: take this time of calmness to create a plan of action to the future and consolidate yourself as a person.

CAUTION: Don't try to suffocate your feelings, it's time to grow and let grow. If you find a situation is unbearable change it.


( IV ) - THE EMPEROR

The Emperor is a natural leader and no one questions his power and his wisdom. He's a splendid strategist. He's strong and virile. He is eloquent and can influence others easily, and he's aware of his power and use it to guide wisely his people under his government. He's the Father, the male force. He's the authority, the properity and the ambition. He rules with control and  firmness.

DIVINATORY MEANING: Represents the leadership, the authority, the dominance. Reason rules over emotions and the head rules over the heart. The Emperor brings wealth and the during a period material things will be an important aspect. It's the symbol of vitality, the overcome of difficulties, the masculine force and the father figure.

CAUTION: A friend might reveal to be a despot or it might mean you are someone's tyrant friend. Weakness of character, immaturity, inability, impotence are the negative side of the Emperor. It might even mean loss of wealth.


( V ) - THE HIGH PRIEST

The High Priest is the guardian of the spiritual threshold. He is the keeper of the occult like the High Priestess but he is the keeper of the keys to the supreme  knowledge while the High Priestess keeps the secrets of each one's mind and subconcious. He is the guideline to a spiritual life. He also symbolizes immortality, patience and moderation.

DIVINATORY MEANING:  It's time to concentrate on spiritual matters. This card represents the desire for spiritual and philosophical enlightenment and the need to find a meaning for life and a real purpose. It symbolizes the tradition, the conventional and that is not a good time to try to adapt to new things instead it's a time to consolidate what you have.

CAUTION: Be careful if you tend to be too compassionate, people will take advantage of that. So don't be over-generous. Weakness, careless, rejection are the dangers of this card. Be careful someone might try to give you bad advices.


( VI ) -  LOVERS

This card represents the doubt between two possible ways. The need to choose something and the awareness that each choice represents reject something in order to accept something. Choices are always hard but they have to be made and they can't wait any longer. It's time to think wisely about our inner truths and decide which is the way to go. 

DIVINATORY MEANING: This cards doesn't necessarily apply to the love life altough it can mean that a new person is going to enter one's life and change it completely. This card is the card that defines the problematic regarding the need to make choices and the difficulty to do so. It can also represent a dilema or a situation in which no matter which choice we take the result will always be painful.

CAUTION: Bad choices are always the one's we regret after so please think before you act. The other face of love and passion is pain and suffer. Emotional distress and sexual frustration can also be a consequence of your actions. 


( VII ) - THE CHARIOT

The Charioteer uses all his strenght to control the forces of his own destiny and altough it's not easy and he is doing a lot of effort it can be said he is being sucessful. This arcanum represents the struggle and fight to reach happiness and teach us that altough the way is not easy it's on our hands and in our personal effort to reach it. This struggle must be continuous!

DIVINATORY MEANING:  This cards globaly means overcoming obstacles. It tells us that our nearest future is full of problems and trouble but that we will have the energy, the optimism and the potential to overcome them. Controling the direction of life.

CAUTION: Tendency for aggresion and lack of respect for others. Defeat and depression might be also negative aspects of this arcanum. Failing to face reality and lack of control can also happen if we dont listen to the advices given by this card. 


( VIII ) - JUSTICE

This card obviously means the need to reach balance thru logical solutions. Only cold reasoning can be fair and justice must be always clear and logical without room for decisions dictated by the heart instead of the head. Wisdom thru fair apreciations.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This arcanum represents a fair decision so if a decision has to be made let it be made by the head and intelect instead of the heart and intuition. Justice can only be achieved if all the variables have been considerated. You can rely on a good perception sucessfully bringing order to a confused life. Balance and wisdom. It can also mean a positive end to a lawsuit and a fair reward.

CAUTION: This is also the arcanum for intolerance, severity, harshness and prejudice. Be careful against false accusations and unfair judgements.


( IX ) - THE HERMIT

The Hermit is wise and he teach us that being alone can sometimes be the way to progress and learn. He teach us to look deep inside ourselves to search for answers and those find inside are the good and truthful ones. He leads to the perfection of soul. Let's follow his guidance and meditate about ourselves, our wishes and dreams and our spiritual life.

DIVINATORY MEANING: The Hermit represents time and how the experiences can be the best  of teachers. The hermit represents the need to be isolated in order to be able to reflect and meditate about the past, the present and the future and find the answers to a balanced life and achieve the wisdom necessary to inner development. The hermit can lead the way for those who really wish to accept the truths he is willing to offer.

CAUTION: This card tells you that isolation is good temporarily but don't force yourself to ba apart from people. Be careful with stubbornness, foolish and immature behaviour and refusal to accept new ideas. Stagnation. 


( X ) - THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE

A new chapter begins and the circumstances are always changing. This is the message of the wheel of fortune. Nothing can remain the same forever and either the situation is good or bad, change is inevitable. The wheel goes round and round teach us that life is constantly changing and that we have to change with it and adapt to the new situations.

DIVINATORY MEANING: The Wheel of Fortune always means a new beginning. A new chapter is about to begin and it's not positive or negative. It's the you and the energies you're willing to put on this new events that will determine the development of the situation. Accept the movement of the wheel and adapt to what it brings to you.

CAUTION: Be careful with unexpected negative situation. Interruption due to unforeseen events.


( XI ) - STRENGHT

A period of self awareness which implies strenght, courage and determination. The possession of a higher nature  which can be used if we have the perfect balance between mental and physical capabilities. This arcanum shows the need to control the "lion" inside of us. That force that can be used for positive actions as well as destruction.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card represents the uncontroled force of psyche that can be used to do good but can also be unleashed for destruction. It reflects the potential and the need to use it well. The force to outcome obstacles is in you... don't let it become another obstacle instead of the solution. Ability to develop the latent power.

CAUTION: Tendency to abuse of power. The lower self taking control. Weakness, fear and temptation.


( XII ) - THE HANGED MAN

The Hanged Man is the symbol of the sacrifice. He knows that he has to sacrifice something in order to have something more valuable or meaningful. This card represents the prophecy and the clairvoyance. The Hanged Man, altough he is in such difficult position, is calm and happy because he realized what is truly important to get... spiritual peace!

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card reflects the need for giving up something in order to achieve something greater. This will be a voluntary sacrifice that's why this is not a negative card regarding losing things because you're the one that is going to get to the conclusion that somethings have to go. Conquering material temptation. Unselfishness.

CAUTION: This card negatively can mean spiritual emptiness and failure to find the true meaning in one's life.


( XIII ) - DEATH

The message of this arcanum is simple: Death to the old so it the new can be born. It means termination and liberation. Death is just the renewal of life. This isn't an easy card mainly because perhaps the situation that is reaching the end we don't want it to reach the end so it's painful to say goodbye to things we want to keep but this is a healthy goodbye because we are making room for new and exciting news things to happen.

DIVINATORY MEANING: Deep change and transformation. End of a phase and beginning of a new one. Liberation. Peace. Natural fear for the  unknown not justified.

CAUTION: Possibility of ending a relationship. Stagnation and inertia. Illness and disorder.


( XIV ) - TEMPERANCE

This cards refers to moderation and control. It also means that wisdom and happiness can only come from the mixture and fusion of opposites. A right decision can be made if we use control to balance diferent elements. The guide leads the soul for the path of spiritual enlightenment. Cooperation is the main message of this arcanum.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card reflects control in all aspects of life, control achieved thru moderation and balance between different elements. Patience and self control are recommended. Combination of forces to bread positive energy. Unity and compatibility.

CAUTION: Unstability and disharmony. Intemperance and emotional unbalance. This card can also mean waste of creative energy or repression of emotions.


( XV ) - THE DEVIL

The Devil symbolizes the meeting with the obscure side of our nature. This meeting is necessary to release all the primary energies, the fear and the occult side of ourselves. This arcanum reflects the taste for the pleasures of life even if it's morally incorrect. It represents the temptation and the pervesion. This card is the card that reflects the taste for material things and emptiness of spirituality or ethics.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card advice us to exorcise our dark side by letting the light of the intelect shine and analyse each single fear, each single passion and desire. This is the card of the temptation and show us to be careful and not put in danger our moral values in exchange of material ones.

CAUTION: Greed, lust and perversion are the negative meanings of this card. Unethical behaviour can lead to self destruction. Be careful with bad influences from "friends" and do not become a slave of materialism.


( XVI ) - THE TOWER

Stubborn and rigid values must be sweeped away and replaced for new ideas. This is a time for sudden changes. Be prepared those changings because they can bring insatisfaction and fear but at the end te new structures built on the ashes of the old one's are much better. The stage is reached where a change of inner awareness causes external changes which may be traumatic but in the long term valuable.

DIVINATORY MEANING: Deep traumatic change of old ideals and belief. The colapse of opinions held with strenght. Possible end of a relationship or a friendship. Time for transition and the transition might be  catastrophic and adverse. Keep optimist because all the pain now will build smiles in the future.

CAUTION: Be careful and do not struggle against something that has to happen, instead work with it to avoid suffering. Opression and Imprisonment are also negative sides of this arcanum.


( XVII ) - THE STAR

After all the trouble represented by the tower... star give us hope, inspiration and encouragement. Promesses of renovation, the star is the light after the darkness. It reflects a very positive time after a complicated one. A time to learn our lessons and prepare our future.

DIVINATORY MEANING: The star represents the faith in ourselves and hope for the future. Things are not yet exactly how we want them to be but there are very good perspectives.  This card means possibility, good oportunities and expectations. It means also that you have the potential to have hopes fulfilled.

CAUTION: Disappointment can come due to expectations that very hardly can turn into reality but don't sulk on things that could have been but never were. Move on and build new dreams and new goals.


( XVIII ) - THE MOON

The Moon repersents a period of ilusion, uncertain feelings and confusion. The light of the moon creates ghosts where there are any. This card simply reflects the confusion that sometimes can be creative if we don't force ourselves to unveil all the secrets. Moon is also the symbol of the intuiton.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card represents an illusory period or situation. We might feel confused and lost but the answer will come in it's due time. We just have to trust on our intuiton to keep out of problems. It can be also a period of peace and development of physic  powers.

CAUTION: Be careful for hidden traps like hidden enemies or false friends.


( XIX ) - THE SUN

The Sun means contentment, prosperity, energy and optimism. It's a good time for action and to plan the future. This card brings joy, strenght, health and positive attitude. It's the light that comes to shine oven the confusing moon shadows. Everything is cleared and the future can be planned without fears or occult illusory ghosts.

DIVINATORY MEANING: It means emotional and material happiness. It brings joy, renewed energies and light to make wise decisions It's the card of sucess and it means sincerity, love, devotion and warm feelings. It's the card of the achievements.

CAUTION: The Sun also tells us to be careful with arrogance, too much confidence and lack of awareness of limitations.


( XX ) - THE JUDGEMENT

The end of the karmic circle... time to be rewarded for past effort. This is the time to do some evaluation of our past and take conclusions. It's the time to suffer the penalties and collect the rewards for our work. Cause and effect. The result of past actions. Conscience.

DIVINATORY MEANING: This card reflects only that the time to take conclusions and to recieved what we deserve for our actions has come. We have to make a summary of our own life and after appreciate what we did good and wrong move on to the birth of a new circle.

CAUTION: Don't be imprisoned by the feeling you had opportunities you didn't seize. Accept your mistake, learn from it and move on. Don't dwell on regret... it's not worth it!


( XXI ) - THE WORLD

If there was good and bad cards in the Tarot this would be the best card of all deck. It means sucessful completion, accomplishment and achievement. It's time for victory and reward. Time for the sucessful end of a long quest. Happiness and joy. Freedom and peace.

DIVINATORY MEANING: Well, it's the card of the ultimate happiness, the final sucessful result of all efforts. Liberation, happiness, freedom, peace and contentment.

CAUTION: Remember that after finishing a project another is just at its beginning
