I admit how many of us find the time to do large rituals, if at all? I can hear it now, the inexplicable "BUT BUT, ritual is a part of Wicca" Of course ritual is part of Wicca, but have you stopped to think of what you consider ritual may not be ritual to another........

I find it important to find time to worship the Goddess, not because I have to but because i want to, out of love and enjoyment no matter how simplistic it is. To me I am worshipping the Goddess every time I acknowledge her existence outside, and feel something bigger than me. I am worshipping the Goddess when I feel her presence through music. I am worshipping the Goddess when I talk to my higher consciousness because the Goddess listens. I am worshipping the Goddess when I dwell upon the moon and reveal in her light. I am worshiping the goddess buy just loving her and all that she is. Find ways to worship the Goddess, no matter how simple or intense. This is not an excuse to avoid big ritual, these are all mechanics we must learn and put forth. Big ritual to me larger and more involved while little acts or worship or ritual are anywhere at no moments notice, and anytime without the circle and trappings. Both kinds of ritual worship are essential. Little ritual reminds us of the Goddess and keeps us on track, while big ritual lets the goddess know we truly take our time to set it aside for her in a more involved way, its more specific. I don't obsess about doing large ritual, because I'm happy about how simple and beautiful her worship is being simple, big ritual does not necessary impress the godhead any less than standing in the shower and saying prayer, or settling ones self in front of the altar to acknowledge her presence. I take great enjoyment in sitting outside when the moon is hanging above me alike a huge glowing orb, and feeling the grass between my toes, those feelings can reveal any formal large ritual, whether that large ritual is spontaneous and not, did I mention that word again. Yes big ritual can be spontaneous in the sense of what you say and express is from the heart, and  not form any book. Obviously you want to know what your doing next especially if magic work is involved simply for that fact there has to be some structure, or we would all walk around not knowing what to do next in the ritual and that would become boring. I take great pleasure in taking long walks by myself and dwelling on my inner self, or simply sitting in my room, and listening to music and smelling the aroma of white sage  as it fumes its essence. To me I'm playing that music for the Goddess. It's all personal preference how we worship her. It doesn't matter how we do it, it matters that we just do it. I love big ritual just as much as any other, but I do it for specific reasons, and for worship when and if accessible at the time, if not oh well its not the end of the world if you don't do a big ceremony. How do you know what your doing is Wiccan. Because your living in the Goddess essence you are embracing life even with its follies, becoming a better person. You are Wiccan because its you. You express it in the way you represent yourself to the world, your ideals and values, how you think and what you live buy. No one can come up with an all agree on definition. No one can tell you how you feel inside, and the path of the Witch is freedom for me. Wicca/witchcraft isnt what your named, terms strain to define that, to me witch/Wiccan is who you are...
