If not for the bad influence of her childhood friend Tomo, Koyomi Mizuhara, also known as Yomi to her friends, would probably be considered the most mature and the most "normal" of the group. Yomi practically grew up with Tomo and has one of those friendships that she just can't get away from, even though Tomo is always getting on her nerves. Their friendship is somewhat similar to that shared between Miss Yukari and Miss Kurosawa, with Yomi trying to keep Tomo under wraps with a barrage of insults and choke holds.
Having been corrupted by Tomo, Yomi has a bit of a callous, violent nature that tends to surface on occasion. She is quick to call out both student and teacher alike when they're acting outlandish, as she has little patience for such behavior unless it's personally amusing. Aside from being vexed by Tomo, Yomi is also concerned with her girlish figure, and is constantly trying various diets in an attempt to slim down. Most of these tend to end in failure.
