Witch/Voodoo Powers

Standard Spells With this ability the witch or voodoo practicioner can learn and cast minor spells of a standard misc. variety. ( 1 post casting minimum)

Healing Spells The ability to learn and cast various healing spells. Healing magic can work on shifters and vampires as well as other humans, but the same spell cannot be used for all three types. Each category needs a different type of spell. Probably a good idea to have a variety of healing spells for differing ailments in any case. NOTE: There is no magical means or way to cure lycanthropy or vampirism nor to ressurect a dead person. (2 post casting minimum for light damage, 4 post casting minimum for moderate wounds, and 6 post casting minimum for major injuries)

Combat Spells The ability to learn and cast combat oriented spells that inflict harm or damage. Balls of fire, bolts of lightening etc etc. Each combat spell should take a minimum of a weeks research (and posting on the characters grimoire topic) to learn. (4 post casting minimum)

Minor Curse The ability to lay minor non lethal non injuring curses. Example: Laying a minor curse to make a character clumsy or always thirsty. Curses of this variety are generally only irritating and annoying to the victim to a certain degree depending on the type of curse and imagination of the curser.

Major Curse The ability to lay potentially fatal curses. Not instant lethality. Anyone who has ever read the book or seen the movie Thinner by Stephen King will have a good idea of the type of curse this is.

Elemental Fire With this ability , the character can control and use natural non magical fire. Shaping, enhancing or extinguishing. Fire cannot be created through this power and has to already exist. It can be full control and use of flames already in existance. Example is to take a sputtering candle flame and turn it into a quick explosive ball of flame.

Elemental Air The ability to magically create, shape , control and use gusts of wind and air. Example is to be able to take a small gust of wind and turn it into a full blown tornado or hurricane.

Elemental Water The ability to use , shape, enhance and control non magical water. An example is to be able to enhance a small rain shower so that it grows into a focused thunder storm. Can do Damage physical and property.

Elemental Earth The ability to use, shape, and enhance the earth and all things that grow from the earth. And example is to make trees shift their branches to block a path, or to make vines whip out and grab people or grow over an entire area covering and strangling it.

Create Monster (Voodoo Power only) Think Frankenstein and you'll have a pretty good idea of what this entails. Prerequisite of Necromancer or voodoo ability to use this power.

Zombie Control (Voodoo Power) The ability to control, not raise, zombies. They can be given tasks or sent to kill people.

Create Charms The ability to create, enspell and make magical amulets, bracelets and other minor magical items.

Necromancer Powers

Raise Dead The ability to raise zombies from the grave

Zombie Control The ability to control zombies. They can be given tasks and used as menial labor or sent to kill people. Necromancers have the ability to send and control up to two zombies at a time to be sent as undead killers. Voodoo practitioners can only send one.

Raise Vampire A very dangerous and powerful ability. With this power the necromancer can raise the sleeping/dead corpse of a living vampire while they are at rest and control them as if they were a powerful zombie. Minus any powers the vampire may have. Forewarning, vampires do not like this and fear necromancers who have this ability and will often hunt down and kill any who possess it.

Control Dead Being able to control all types of undead. Zombies, ghouls and in some instances be able to have minor commanding power over young new vampires.

Gain Power From the Dead The ability to draw supernatural and magical strength from the energy of Zombies, ghouls, ghosts and vampires. Temporarily increasing personal power.

Vampire Servant This ability is likened to a Master Vampire's ability to have a human servant. With this power the necromancer metaphysically marks a vampire and makes them their undead servant. A vampire bound in this way to a necromancer instantly becomes enamored with and cares for the necromancer with emotions much like love. The vampire cannot disobey a direct order from the Necromancer and can be in effect a virtual slave to the necromancer.

Psionic Powers

Clairavoyance The psychic ability to touch a person or an object and get glimpses of the past from the person or object. Each character must specify either TOUCH or NON TOUCH Clairavoyance. Touch clairavoyants normally wear gloves and avoid all skin to skin contact as their power will automatically react to the touch and give them the visions. Touch clairavoyants are almost always nuerotic and at least partially insane from the use of their power. They have no control over when they use their power. It always is activated with any touch of a person. They only have to activate it themselves when touching and object. Non touch clairavoyants simply use their mind to activate the power but do not have the clarity of touch clairavoyants and only get random images. they cant focus the direction of the images brought up.

Telekinetic The ability to lift and move objects with your mind

Divination The ability through use of scrying mirror, water, tea leaves, tarot cards etc etc, to find out information. With the use of a mirror or liquid surface the diviner can look in on people around them. It can be as focuses or as clear vision wise as the level of power the diviner is gifted with.

Pyrokinetic

She's dead now, you know." "No, I didn't know." "Burned to death in her bed, spontaneous combustion. A lot of the firebugs go up that way, as if when they're old they lose control of it." Burnt Offerings

A pyrokinetic can also be called a firebug; this is someone who can call fire psychically. Pyrokinetics are surrounded by an aura that protects them from their own flame. A firebugs flames are blue in color versus the yellow/orange of regular flames. When this aura is no longer in effect, the flames turn yellow and the pyro bursts into flame.

One firebug started out by setting fires to empty buildings soon moved on to killing people by burning occupied buildings. After his arrest he tried to escape from the police station by setting fire to it. A man in a fire retardant suit tackled him. The firebug tired to set him on fire. Since their auras were too close together eventually the flames turned yellow, and the pyro burned to death.

Cryokinetic Like a pyrokinetic ability to call , create and control fire, a cryokinetic does the same thing with cold and ice though not to the degree a pyrokinetic can. A cryokinetic can create gusts of freezing wind, or by touch completely freeze solid an object just as if they had poored liquid nitrogen over it.

Empath The ability to read and sometimes feel the emotions of others. Some Empaths are so powerful they actually relate to and experience the same emotions of the people they are reading. An empath of this power level rarely has full control ove rtheir gift and can often unwillingly experience the emotions of those around them

Precongition The ability to get brief glimpses into the future. Most of the time it is without warning or without even trying.

Telepath The ability to read peoples thoughts and mind.
