| Well what is Vash? He is a genetically enhanced plant-human hybrid, this is shown in various ways and is not a secret in a way. Proof of this is exhibited throughout the series, and if you watch closely you can come to a general understanding in minimal time. Nevertheless here are a few examples. - Episode 06 - Lost July Vash uses his genetically enhanced ability to interact with the power plant and heal it so it wouldn't explode. - The Angel Arm Exhibited later in this series, this is a part of his genetic enhancement, it has the ability to swell when needed and through the use of Vash and Knives special guns, they can fire a deadly blast that causes massive destruction. This is shown in Fifth Moon and is also shown in another episode where Vash is forced to fire the weapon, and destroys the town that originally gave him the $$60 billion double dollar bounty. It is also shown in the last episode. - Gun For An Arm This arm is not real, it is attached to Vash's left arm. It features a fake hand, and is equipped with a shotgun (later on this is replaced with an automatic rifle). This is shown in various episodes throughout the later half of the series. - Vash seemingly has the ability to dodge bullets, determine an enemies strengths and weaknesses, and has a natural ability avoiding near death experiences. This is a result of time, alot of time. Vash has a very long life span. Nearing the end of the series, Vash is 131yrs. old. In the Manga Vash is closer to 150 yrs. old, but that's a whole different story all together. |
