Many fans wonder exactly what sort of importance does that cat play throughout the series. The answer is none... This black cat's name is "Kuroneko-sama" (translation: "Lord Black Cat") Coincidentally this Lord Black Cat was one of the first characters ever to be created by Yasuhiro Nightow (creator of Trigun).
