Why yes I do run the new AP Euro website! How nice of you to ask! Test copies and vocab.
The first major blogging location on the net. Create your own account, join communities, or read the journals of other computer-addicted freaks (read mine here).
Behold the almighty Josh Woodward music ... shiny songs, shiny lyrics, lots of shinyness. Good enough that I have converted many to this shiny way of shiny music shinyness.
What can you do with a word and sixty seconds? Write, that's what! This site focuses on un-left-brain-censored thinking. After you've written your masterpiece, post it on the site!
Relatively decent online music videos. Good for a cable-less girl like myself.
Livejournal community with all the best 100x100 pixel user pictures; credit goes to enriana for her ferris wheel icon that is present on every page.
The online site for a magazine that reminds me of the movie Amelie. Comprised of a collection of found notes, photographs, etc. Very interesting, in my opinion.
Online pets, merchandise, lots of other nonsense. The games are spiffing, though -- I'm fond of Sutek's Tomb and Destruct-O-Match.
Good poetry! Lots and lots of good poetry! Lots and lots of other stuff, too.
Site with some of the worst poetry you will ever be degraded enough to see. But there is the odd good poet, and the contests are fun, and some people are receptive to critiques.
Play some of the cutest animated games you'll find on the net (or anywhere else). Games range from 'Bauns' (my personal favorite) to 'Starry Nights,' with tons of choices in between.
More psychoanalyzation than anyone could want.
Guide to drugs. As guessed, right? Definitely more useful than what they teach in health class these days.
Cheap like me and lacking a program to write music on the computer? Have some printable staff paper! Very useful when plunking.
One of the best sites on the internet, in my not-so-humble opinion. Take fun quizzes, read bizarre away messages (the source a few of mine), and check out lots of other awesome-ness.
This site is so random; I love it. While it is particularly excellent for AP Environmental Science projects, if there's ever any situation when you need just a quick bit of information, whether it is on fuel cell cars or on spontaneous human combustion, or any other such strange topic, this is the place to go.
The official webpage of one of the coolest writers out there, the one and only liberal Michael Moore. The author of Dude Where's My Country, Stupid White Men, and other books and movies, you can now get relatively frequent updates on Moore's thoughts (bring on the Bush-bashing).
Read news without the corporate bias. Written by independent media centers across the globe, you can visit this site to read what's really happening in the world.
For the culturally illiterate: come here and be learned. A gothic community, this place has forums, galleries, and best of all, articles (be sure to check out How to be Goth to find out what 'goth' really is).
One of the more pervasive writing sites you'll find, with a pseudo-community, articles, contests, and more. There's also a calendar of writing prompts for those who need inspiration.
Numerous essays on the philosophy and theology behind the Matrix movies. Especially wonderful if you're in to Descartian philosophy, like I am (Cogito, ergo sum!).
The voice of gothic manners. Very amusing to read even if one isn't 'goth' in the more stereotypical view of the word.
For any die-hard Harry Potter fan, or anyone who likes to explore the intricacy of the books ... this site breaks down the technical ins and outs of the Harry Potter books into a near-science.
The poor/lazy person's way to give something back to the earth. It's fast and it's vaguely amusing, too, particularly if you get an account so you can track your progress.
Great place for people who can't make their own CSS layouts.
