Why did it happen?

Who did he hurt

did he take his own life

Was it the hand of a friend

another life snuffed out

way before life was lived

only 17

not knowing you or me

does his soul go to heaven, or hell, or come back

these scholary pursuits plague us to this day

does it really matter

a life is gone

we should mourn he who is gone

not fight amongst ourselves

we are all mortal

we all live

we all die
