Title: A Hiking we will go Date: 4/10/00 Author: Stana Stana looked between the ambassador and the Unicorn. Her stomach felt like it had just been scrubbed out with steel wool, and her head ached dully. It would have been nice to hit Teri up for an aspirin. If Teri had been here. Stana shrugged. She'd been feeling worse lately. At least her head was still attached to ache, and the Avery did seem to indicate that this would be temporary. "So," she said suddenly "excuse me for being the cluelss one in this bunch, but, let me guess...we AREN'T where we were supposed to be?" she looked around "guess not." "Madron" Clip uttered reluctantly. "We are in the heart of it." "I see." she replied. "Well, we can't do anything about it anyway. Clip come on, lets go get some wood to make a lean to. Stay here Ambassador, we wont go far." As the Syl was currently unconscious, she didn't really have a say in the matter. Stana slung her bow over her back and listened as Clip fell into step. She wondered if she should have felt shock at this sudden turn of events, but her cynical side was baiting her with the through that this should have been expected. After all, nothing went right here. The question was, what to do now? Go after Finn? The four of them? Riiight, and rabbits actually came out of hats. The Ambassador had mentioned something about an underground resistance group. Probably similar to the Underground railroad used to ferret slaves from the South, but with more of a militant sting. Wonderful, now she got to play freedom fighter with these people. She growled under her breath and stacked another piece of wood. She was getting too damned good at this, and she didn't even LIKE camping. The concept of bugs crawling over her as she slept seemed all the more real to her (and more likely) in the woods. Good grief, and who knew what types of bus that Narada had that WEREN'T similar to her world... Clip snapped his head up and trumpeted an alarm as the immediate area around them exploded into various leaping figures. Stana had just enough time to drop the all but one long shank of wood, curse her bad luck at having her hands full to begin with, and come face to face with someone with a longer reach that she in weaponry.
