Chapter Fourteen
“Did you find out where they’re going?” Wade asked one of his friends. They were standing in the
backyard of a large house, a party going on in the house behind them.“They’re going to The Village Cafe.”
“There’s an alley behind there, it’ll be perfect. Know when they’ll be there?”
“Close to nine.”
“Tell the guys we want to leave here at nine-fifteen then.”
Eric Baldwin nodded his head and found the other three guys involved in Wade’s plan that they had to
leave at nine-fifteen.”*~*~*
“I had fun tonight,” Catriona said, as she walked out of the small Chinese restaurant with JC.
“So did I.” JC grinned at her. “Want to do it again some time?”
“Thanks JC, for this,” Wade said, stepping out of the shadows of the building. “I can handle it from here.”
“What the hell are you talking about, Wade?” JC asked, staring at the tall man.
“You got her here, I can take over.” Wade grinned at them as he grabbed Catriona.
“What’s going on here, JC?” Catriona asked, suspicion in her voice, trying to get out of Wade’s grip.
“They’re just messing with us, Cat,” JC said. He lunged for Wade, but two guys grabbed him and held
him back.“JC just doesn’t want to admit the truth,” Wade said, throwing Catriona against the wall. “He’s all apart
of this, but doesn’t want you to know. We’d planned this entire thing. His becoming friends with Faith again,
getting you to go out with him.” He punched Catriona and began to rip at her clothes. “And the little fucking naive
bitches you two are, you fell for it.” He tied her hands with her belt and ripped a piece of her shirt off so he could
gag her. Then he pulled down her pants and ripped off her panties. “Do you actually think that JC would ever date
someone like you? You’re a little gothic slut. A fucking piece of trash.”“Don’t believe him Cat,” JC yelled, struggling against the guys that held him. “It’s not true. I didn’t
apologize to Faith because of him, or ask you out because of him.”“Did you know Faith’s middle names are Brittany Moonbeam?” Wade asked. “JC told me that the night
he apologized to her. He laughed about it, wondering how she could have believed him. He said she was fool to
believe that he’d ever want to be friends with her.”Catriona turned hurt green eyes towards JC, staring at him as Wade raped her. JC continued to struggle
against the guys that held him, until one of them hit over the head with a baseball bat, knocking him unconscious.
He didn’t see the other four guys rape Catriona.Wade looked down at the bleeding Catriona as they were straightening their clothes. “You weren’t even a
good fuck.” He spat on her, and kicked her once in the head, knocking her out.*~*~*
“Did Cat ever come back last night?” Sarah asked Faith as she stumbled into the kitchen Sunday morning.
“Huh?” Faith asked, blinking her eyes at the sun that was pouring into the kitchen.
“Cat. Did she ever come back last night?”
“Oh. No, she didn’t. Is she home now?”
“No.”
“Good for her.” Faith placed her head on the table. “Damn, I’m tired.” She closed her eyes. Five minutes
later, they flew open. “Wait, Cat isn’t home yet?”“No.”
“Then there’s something wrong.” Faith frowned. “She’d never stay at JC’s overnight.”
“Maybe they got back to his place late and Cat didn’t want to come home,” Sarah suggested.
Faith grabbed the phone in the kitchen and dialed JC’s number. It rang and rang and rang and the
answering machine picked up. “Hey it’s JC. I’m not at home right now, leave a message.”Faith looked at Sarah, worry in her eyes. “He’s not home.”
“Do you think something happened to them?”
“I don’t know.”
“Maybe they just went out for breakfast or something.”
“I hope so. I’ll try to call him again later.”
Faith was placing the phone back in the charger when it rang again.
“Hello?”
“May I speak to a Ms. Edwards, a Ms. Aslesen, or a Ms. Cybele?”
“This is Ms. Edwards.”
“Ms. Edwards, I’m with Providence Medical Center. One Ms. Catriona Kapera was found this morning,
with a one Joshua Chasez. We need you to come to the hospital to answer some questions.”“What happened to them?”
“Mr. Chasez is unconscious; he was hit over the head with something. Ms. Kapera was raped repeatedly
last night, and then rendered unconscious.”“I’ll be right there.” Faith slammed the phone down. “Sarah, we need to get to the hospital.”
“What happened?” Sarah asked.
“Cat and JC were found this morning, both unconscious. And Cat was raped last night.”
Sarah grabbed her keys. “I’ll drive.” While Faith was hurriedly getting dressed, Sarah knocked on Elona’s
door. “Lona, Cat’s been hospitalized. We’ll be back later.”Elona walked out of her room, dressed. “I’m going too.”
Faith walked out of her room, carrying her brush and shoes. “Come on, let’s go. If it was JC who raped
her, I’m going to kill him.”“Get the whole story before doing anything rash, Faith,” Elona warned.
