I started racing in ladys grade at the end of the 2002-03 season On our
Club Champs day. I just happened to fluke it and come out with a 2nd
over all trophy, and the last day of the Whangarei
Clubs 2002/03 season I managed to pick up my first win in Tonys
                                production.

End of season prize giving social was awesome.... besides coming home legless , Tony and I also took away one or the biggest trophy on the table...Stockcar Stirrers (which had found a home on the top of the TV for that year).  Tony also brought home the 3nd overall for the season in our no.17 production...Whoooohooooo!!!

2003-04  season I raced in the Production and the ladies grade.  The competition was tight in the ladies grade that season, but at least I was up there with them...a big achievement for me.
Production grade competition was a great challenge for me as the men tend to find the floor a little
better than us girls.  I was comfortably sticking to the middle of the pack .

Nearing the end of the season Tony and I went our separate ways. We share great stockcar memories.  But I have to apologise to him for stacking the holden into the side of a ford the day that we parted. I wonder if hes ever forgiven me :)  Cause I know the Ford lovers wouldn't have.

Besides painting cars I also enjoyed racing them
My partner (at the time) Tony and I began racing at the beginning of the 2001-2002 season at the Whangarei Track.

Tony used to race there many years ago in the C Grade before we met, but it was his first season in a Std Stock...which started the race bug up for him again. ( To tell you the truth thats what started my race fever too.)

We both raced in the std stock for the season.  Tony brought home various prizes including BEST ROLL OVER of the season (shared with Nigel Bree).
During the off season he felt there was something missing....so he thought it would be cool to make a production car as well.......so we did. It was ready just in time for the 2002/03 season.
But of course now we
had to
syncronise colour schemes
