Description: 6'0" Short brown hair, brown eyes he is built, but not huge, he is light on his feet, and even though he is not the biggest of the Manticore boys he is still one of the strongest and the fastest.
History: He escaped from Manticore when he was 10. He ran for 4 years were he finally found himself in Chicago. He became the perfect thief, and the lead singer/guitar player for a local band. By the time he was 15 he had gained a reputation amongst thieves (No place could hold him in, and no place could hold him out.) When he was 16 he gave up being a thief when confronted by a man named Jason Doub he convinced Derek to change his ways and protect the innocent. So he spent the next year fighting crime instead of committing it. Three years later, he had another reputation among evil men. They called him the raven ( The bringer of nightmares) They said that he was the bringer of nightmares to all evil men that would last until death came knocking on their door. This soon became his calling card. During that same year Manticore found where he was hiding, and he has been running ever since.
Attitude: Exteremly introveted he seems rude and uncaring when you first meet him, but as you get to know him you realize that he isnt as uncaring as one would think. He just has been alone for so long that he doesnt know how to act toward new people, and his training thought him that he is to trust no one but himself, and you dont mess with him he is a pain when you meet him but still be nice to him or you will regret it.
Flaws:Not being one to think matters through he is know to act on impulse. His fear of nothing also poses a threat to him.
Friends: He has one Jeremy Buchanan. the bass player from Dereks old band. He is a genus though his outside apperance, and attitude would fool anyone. He can do anything from solve the most challanging equation to hack into the most high tec computer system in the world. Jeremy is the second person that Derek has ever warmed up to.
City Of Residence: None he wanders the states with his friend Jeremy hoping to find refuge.
Social Status: I guess you could say poor, but he gets by driffting along finding money when he needs it.
Song that best explains him: Bullet for blue sky and lie down by p.o.d because it starts of slow, and seems calm then it explodes on you. p> Extra Info: The first person that Derek ever warmed up to was a girl by the name of Chrisina Gibson, and he loved her, but it didnt last she didnt really feal that way she fooled him and because of her he was almost captured by Manticore, and even though she helped them they still killed her. That is probably one of the reasones that Derek is so uptight when you first meet him. So devestated he told himself that he would never let it happen again, but it probably will.
