Looks like my rattery will re-start after all! I found another breeder and if things work out this time I should get some rats shipped to me in about 2-3 weeks. I may also have a partner in this breeding, a nice lady named Dawn from Bowes Cockatiels who is willing to help out in some of the breeding and care of the rats and who may officially become a "sister rattery".
My upcoming litters could be Possum or Blazed Dumbo's, so it should be exciting to see what will happen. I will update as soon as I know if it is all coming together.

Im not sure when my rattery will be starting up now, because I have no clue when I am getting my breeder rats shipped to me or if they are coming at all.
Me and other people are waiting to hear about our rats so I will patiently wait until I know what is going on. I can have one litter with my own rats, but no Dumbo's or Blue rats.
In sadder news I may be returning to Winnipeg for personal reasons and would either stop breeding for a while, or just relocate my rattery there, I will keep everyone posted. |

Im so excited, my rats are coming in about a week or so from now. I will be picking them up at the air port and I can't wait. I will begin breeding once they have settled nicely. |

Yet again I am having some difficulties getting my rattery up and running again. I have allowed one of the breeders who are selling me some stock to sell my current rats to other people and that I will put my name down for future litters. I would much rather be fully set up in Montreal then get them sent in the middle of my moving time. So soon enough I will finally have what I am looking for and can really begin to breed when everything is ready. |

I have finally found all the sutible breeding stock to re-start my rattery with. I am very pleased and cannot wait to start up. Most of my rats are being shipped around July-August so I can start some litters for the fall. |

Today I am picking up a young Beige Berkshire Dumbo female from a local breeder out of town, so once I get a chance I'll take some pictures of her and post them up!

I am so excited because I finally have some wonderful babies reserved for when my rattery re-opens. Most of them are all from SFRC, which is located really close to where I am. I still havent decided wether I am going to ship them or have them driven here. Lee-Ann from SFRC is driving up here in the beggining of June so to save money I may just get all my ratties then which would make it a lot easier instead of shipping them at different times.
Sadly if they came in June, I would have to cancel my litter because the babies would not be ready in time for people in Winnipeg.
So I am still trying to decide, but until then my litter is still going to happen.
