I looked around for a while and once I heard there were 3 brothers up for adoption, who's previous family gave them away, I decided to go take a look at them.
They were all a 1 year old and very
healthy and used to being handled. I played with them all
and chose the one who always came to the door to come out and play.
He is a Standard Grey Chinchilla male who I have now called Napoleon because I feel it suits him for some odd reason. He's still getting used to his nice 2 level cage and all my family but he is warming up quickly. I am keeping in mind that each Chin has a different personality and so I'll soon learn his likes and dislikes.
He loves to run around and explore and likes to sit on your shoulder too. He's pretty good with being held and likes his head and under his chin to be scratched. He also loves his dust bathes! As soon as he sees the bowl of dust, he comes running out of his cage. And of course, he adores raisins and tries to snack on cookies too :)
He is the softest little thing ever with the cutest black eyes. I am very happy to have him and can't wait to get him a cagemate.
He seems pretty happy with his igloo house and hammock, and even gets along with my rabbit!
He such a wonderful little pet, and Im sure Im going to enjoy him.
