(The story starts right after school, when they are going home)
Dib: �I will be watching you Zim, be sure of that� he seas and walks away,
always looking back.
Zim: �That annoying human, why can�t he just leave me alone for once!� he seas to himself, walking home. When he is in front of his house, he feels like someone is following him. He turns around and sees nothing. Then he turns around again to continue walking, but he almost bumps into a girl. She is dressed in black, and has black-purple hair.
�Get out of my way, human. I have important things to do!� Zim tells the girl. But the girl does not move. �Get out of my way human�� �Are you a human?� the girl asks Zim.
�Umm�. of curse�. I�m a normal human worm baby� Zim seas.
�Ooh, I�m not human. So I just want to know if you would be my friend?� Zim looks at her and thinks that if she isn�t human, then what is she, she is so cute.
�We cannot continue this conversation outside, come in.� Zim opens the door.
The gnomes start moving towards the girl. �Ooh, I forgot to turn the gnomes off. But they will not be stopped in time� he thinks, �Oh well.� Zim turns around to walk in. But the strangest thing just happened, he does not her the gnomes shooting a single shot. He turns his head to see what had made this accrue.
The girl is standing there but the gnomes are GONE! �(Scared voice) What did you do to my gnomes?!?� Zim asks the girl. �Ooh, the gnomes. They were gonna shot me or something so I made them disappear. What? Do you want them back??� The girl asks, staring at Zim. Zim gaps at the girl�s words �you made them disappear? But how!�
Before the girl could answer, someone else has arrived.
�Aha!� It was Dib, �now I have proof that you are not human Zim.�
Zim �and what proof would that be, Dib?�
Dib: �I have been watching you trough my super telescope, and you mad the gnomes disappear, you must have something like some-sort of a laser or a mind-power thingy!!�
Zim: �No I don�t, but I wish I had that mind-power, then I could blow your big head up with
my mind� Zim grins at Dib.
Dib: �That�s not funny! But did you say that you didn�t make the gnomes disappear?�
Zim: �Yes, I did say that I didn�t do it!�
Dib: �Then who did it??�
Zim: �(Pisst off) She did it. And if you are going to take her and study her or something, then would you be so kind and ask her to return them to me!� Zim seas pointing at the girl, turns around and walks in and slams the door.
Dib stares at Zim's door, and then he looks at the girl �So it was you who did make the gnomes disappear??,
"hey are you not that girl in the next class. Tess, right?�
Tess: �Yes I am� she seas with a big smile.
They walk down the street and talk.
Dib: �So, could you tell me how you did it?�
Tess: �Yes I could�
�So would you tell me??�
�No�
�Why not�
�Because you have a tape-recorder in your left pocket� She seas,
pointing at his pocket.
�How did you know that!!�
�I�ll only tell you if you turn the tape-recorder off!�
�OK, I�ll turn it off *click* happy now, I swished it off!!�
�Yes I�m happier =)�
�OK, then how did you know about the tape-recorder??�
�Because you were thinking about it all the time� she seas, turning her head to look at him,
and points at his head. �
�Stop pointing at me. And how did you know that!!!�
�I can read your mind�
�Wow, that�s so cool. Could you teach�.�
�NO, I won�t teach you how to do it!�
�Why not?�
�Because I cant teach you it"
"Why not???"
"For I was born with the ability to read thoughts (and more)�
She seas. Looking annoyed at him �and I have to say that I�m a bit annoyed by your questions.
So I'll see you at school to tomorrow?, Bye.� She runs away, so fast that Dib does not see
her go, only that she said 'Bye', and then disappeared.
"But... were did she go???" Dib looks around, looking for Tess.
Zim is hard at work in his lab, almost done making two new gnomes to guard the house. GIR is watching TV and eating popcorn
*Ding-Dong*
Zim: �Will you get that GIR�
GIR: �okay� he opens the door �HELLO�.
Tess: �Hello to you to. I just came to make the gnomes reappear, that�s all. Bye�
The two gnomes popup out of nowhere.
GIR: �BYE� and then closes the door.
Zim: �Who was it GIR?�
GIR: "Was who?"
Zim: "Who was at the door?"
GIR: �A girl with black hair� he seas, eating his popcorn.
Zim hurry�s up to the living room.
�Did she wear a black dress too?�
GIR: �Yes�
�And what did she say�
�Something about your gnomes�
�And what did she say about them�
�Ooh. Not much. Want some popcorn?" GIR holds the popcorn bag in front of Zim.
"No, I don't want any popcorn!"
"Okay, then more for me then" he seas, and starts eating his popcorn again.
"GIR!!"
GIR looks at his master "Yes?" he asks.
"What did the girl say to you"
"What girl?"
"(Very annoyed) The girl at the door!!!"
"Ooh, she just said something about the gnomes" he seas, still eating from the popcorn bag
(Does it never get empty?)
"And what did she say about the gnomes GIR?"
"Only that she was putting them back�
Zim: �Thank you GIR. Next time GIR,
try to give me a strait message!!!� he turns around, and goes to his lab.
GIR: �OKEY�
