Islanders

On a deserted island there was a house.
On it lived a tiger, cat and a mouse.
A tiger named Lily, and a cat named Helen,
There was a mouse that was named Karen.

One day they had no food, nor water or bread.
There was nothing around, except for grass.
They thought they were dead.
Then Helen got mad,
And screamed and cursed right before mass.

The cat and the tiger needed some meat.
But there was just the story.
The story was neat. They sat in their seat.
Until the story was over.

The mouse was so nice,
It baked them some pies,
Filled with grass and some flies.
The cat wanted more, said the mouse was a hore.
And said some stories of lies.

I know of one mouse that we might catch.
But shes small and shes fast.
It might take all day to catch the feast,
And arent we her friends, that at least?
Lily remarks.

If friendship is more than life,
Then how are we supposed to survive?
A mouse, a tiger, and a cat!
From one mouse, we both can be fat!
Helen replies.

The decision was made,
The tiger agreed.
That the mouse they should catch and maybe than eat.
January, February, Mars and May.
The hunt got harder and harder each day.

The years past by.
And no one saw,
What happened there after, but it was right by law.
But the story shows,
That the mouse was caught, or maybe not.
Like I said, no one knows!
