From a friend of a friend
I hear of your end
Here I stand on the grass
Deeply mourning your pass
The memories of you go through my hear
And i simply cannot believe your dead
I see your family standing there
Hoping for you to pop out of no where
I walk up to the casket still above ground
And your mother sees me a long lost friend finaly found
I see your hair of red
and I touch the silk of your final bed
I hear the caw of a raven in the tree
I think to it keep him safe please for me
I touch the talisman at my neck
On a nearby grave the raven starts to peck
I take it off and set it on your chest
For you to take with you on your final rest
I will see you againmy brother
Not in this life but in another
I lean down to kiss your cheek
The air in my lungs feels very very weak
I stand up fighting back tears
Thinking about life without you all these years
So many things that should have been diffrent
Things I wanted to do bu where not ment
Things that should have been said But where not
As if in my throut they got caught
Slowly I start to walk away
Knowing I'll never forget this day
Through me you will live on
Till the day I to am gone
Till we meet anew which is when
Together we will take on the world again
