Cloud is the main character of Final Fantasy VII.  This hero has a bit of an attitude as well as some inner demons from the past.  The skeletons in his closet have deep roots in the fact that he can't remember his life from age 16-21.  Once thought to be an ex-SOLDIER, turns out he was actually a failed experiment of Professor Hojo's.

Not exactly a born leader, Cloud is hesitant to join AVALANCHE, a group fighting to save the planet from being sucked dry of its Mako.  When Cloud's antagonist, Sephiroth *drool* appears and summons Meteor, he has no choice but to settle old scores and save the planet.
