Bob Baganoosh: "Im here at the interview studio with a......Mr. Carraway, Nick Carraway to be exact. Come on in Mr. Carraway & share with us your knowledge.!"
<Nick Enters>

Nick: Its good to be here Bob.

Bob: Welcome, welcome, & good evening Nick. If its ok, wed like to ask you a few questions about Gatsby.

Nick: Certainly.

Bob: Great. First off, what was your relationship with Gatsby like?

Nick: Well I didnt know him for that long. When I first moved into my new house next to Gatsby, we had little conversation. In fact, we didnt really speak at all. The first time I saw him was when I was coming home from my cousin, Daisys, house. He was standing on his porch reaching for something.

Bob: Interesting. Did you ever find out what that thing was?

Nick: It turns out that he was actually staring out at the light that was shining on the end of Daisys dock - directly across the sound.

Bob: Well be speaking with her later as a matter of fact, but now, tell us more about your relationship.

Nick: The first time we actually made real contact was when I finally got invited to one of his extravagant parties that he always seemed to hold every Saturday. I started talking to a stranger who turned out to be Gatsby himself.

Bob: Very interesting. Where did things go from there?

Nick: The next thing you know, he started inviting me to lunch & he even invited me to go in his new hydroplane with him. It was all very nice, but I started getting my doubts about who the real Gatsby was; when I met a man named Meyer Wolfshiem. He was a rather shady character, a gambler, I believe was what Mr. Gatsby referred to him as.

Bob: What kind of business was he into?

Nick: I cant really be sure, but some say he fixed the 1919 world series, but it hasnt been proven.

Bob: Why was it that Gatsby took a sudden interest in you?

Nick: As it turns out, he was using me so that he could reunite with Daisy, who earlier, I had mentioned was my cousin.

Bob: Didnt that upset you any, I mean no one likes to be used?

Nick: No, not really. Gatsby was the only one whom I never actually got tired of, for the records, Gatsby did not use me in a manipulative puppetry kind of way. When I actually found out what Gatsby was trying to do, I was kind of glad to help. I mean if Tom could have a woman, why couldnt Daisy have a man?

Bob: Good point you have there, Nick.
