| Prince From Another Land Batman receives a long range communication from Superman from sector T-111 Superman tells Batman he will be sending a 'package' to him from that sector. It is being launched into Gotham harbor and sea from space and he supplies him with approximated co-ordinates. Nightstick is in the cave. Batman suits up Nightstick in underwater gear and they take the Bat Boat/Sub on a recon and recovery mission. They discover the fragment of an alien spaceship embeeded in the sea wall of Gotham Harbor. It appears to have been torn off a larger ship. It is obvious that Superman molded and welded the craft shut. Batman recovers the alien Leoentar from the ship with Nightstick He is brought back to cave Superman arrives a day later. He informs Bruce that Leoentar comes from the Planet . It is a peace oriented planet. They have no crime, hate, violence. Their pursuits are intellectual, spiritual and in the perfection of their harmonious existanece with the rest of the universe. Superman was there as a peace delegate from Earth when the untinkable happened. Someone sabotaged an orbiting space ship resulting in a catoclysmic explosion which Superman was unable to prevent. He was with Prince Leoentar in the orbiting ship when it exploded. He barely had time to contain the then unconscious Prince. In the short time it took him to do so the planet was washed in the Geothalidamide solution of the ships engine core. Coupled with the atmosphere of the planet, this resulted in an almost instant world wide annihilation of the planets population. As he had been a few days from a yellow sun at this point, Superman was very weakened from the explosion. It took all he had to get the fragment of the ship back to Earth. After recharging in a neighboring Solar system, he retuned to Earth. In this time Batman had performed a medical diagnosis of Leoentar and determined that although he has an anatomy somewhat similar to a human, it appears to not be necessary for survival. The lungs are not breathing, there is little to no activity in most of his other systems. Yet he is alive. A DNA study reveals that there has been some kind of change to his DNA recently that he does not understand. Upon returning to Earth, Clark and Bruce decide Star Labs is probably best for the unconscious Alien. Superman flies him to Star Labs and has to turn around shortly after leaving the Bat Cave. Leoentar started glowing with a visible soft white luminescence. They do some additional investigation and discover, in a manner different yet similar to Superman, Leoentar seems to be absorbing Stellar and Lunar radiations. Star Labs begins designing a supression / shielding transport tube. Superman helps Batman salvage technology from ship Upon his awakening a universal translator is used to communicate with him. He learns to speak English within hours. It is determine dhe is of a superior intellect. Batman asks Leoentar to confine himself to a specific room in the Bat Cave. While there he is given as much information as he can process. Leoentar learns � music, history, politics etc.The history of his Earth is devestating for him and almost incomprehensible. Within this time he befriends Bobby � Bobby absolutley LOVES him and finds an instant connection / bond. Eventually, Leoentar asks to go outside Batman takes him to Ocean overlook bluff His body again begins to absorb Lunar Radiations and his power begin to develop. There are sft luminescent light emanations around him in the moonlight. He falls off the edge of a cliff. Batman rushes to the cliff side to help only to find a surprised Leoentar floating in front of him. Star Labs creates dampening field and supplies the transport tube to Superman. Superman takes Leoentar to Star Labs |
