| PSI Ops wants Wraith PSI Ops approaches extends Wraith an offer as DEO to join. Wraith is imemdiately suspicious. He is picked up on a limo. The 'sales pitch' is made on the way to the airport. Batman was doing surveillance on the house at the time and follows. Peter has been sent to Gotham to cover the new Egyptian exhibit. While there he decides to take a swing around Gotham. Batman sees him and corners him. Batman asks what he is doing in the city. During this is when the Wraith is taken to the airport. Batman watches and follows in Batplane. Batman calls the cave and Robin and Iceman are told to meet at airport Wraith refuses the DEO offer. Their rep is disappointed. He excuses himself after stating his dis-approval and heads to the rear of the plane. After a minute Wraith follows and knocks on the door. No answer. He shifts his head through the door to a small bathroom. No one is in there and there are no obvious exits. Wraith makes his way to the front of the plane and attempts to put his head through the cockpit door. A black miasmic death field shrouds his head throwing him violently from the door and injuring him. At this point the plane begins to careen in a downward increasing descent towards the city. Batman matches speed and attatches docking clamps from the Bat Plane to the jet. He manages to guide it ona course that will crash it into the Gotham Harbor. The Wraith opens the door of the plane. He uses his own essence in the form of a Wind Sphere to shield Elias from the wind shear and floats to ground. Batman barely manages to detatch the damamged docking clamps and drops the jet in harbor yards shy of Gotham City and the Twin Towers. Everyone meets at the top of Gotham Towers |
