| Batman is one of the most well trained martial artists in the world, an expert in most every form there is. Included in that, Batman is in perfect physical condition as well as mental. He is an expert businessman and master detective. Eye color: Blue Hair color: Black Powers: None. Weapons: In addition to Batman's near perfection, he also tailors a large array of weaponry to aid him in his fight against evil. These include tear gas, smoke bombs, batarangs, razor blades, grappling hooks, lock picks, and tons more. These gadgets are held in a utility belt worn around Batman's waist. Batman's suit is fire resistant and is lined with impact absorbing plates which can absorb the blows of punches and long range, weak bullets. His cape can also be expanded to allow extremely short term gliding. It also used as a distraction to show a larger target for enemies to shoot at, most hitting the cape and not the body. As for vehicles, Batman houses transportation galore with a Bat Mobile, Batwing, Batboat, and other gliders and motorcycles. All these, as well as an incredibly extensive crime computer, are kept in the Batcave, a large cavern hidden under Wayne Manor. History: After viewing the classic film, "The Mask of Zorro", Thomas and Martha Wayne and son, Bruce began walking home when they were confronted by a mugger on Crime Alley in Gotham City. Thomas Wayne put up a struggle and he and his wife were shot dead. Bruce witnessed the entire event. Bruce was sent to live with his uncle, Phil (his father's brother) where Phil and his butler, Alfred Pennyworth looked after him and raised him as best they could. A couple of days after the funeral, Bruce decided that he would avenge his parents death by declaring war on crime. From that night on, Bruce worked to his utmost potential by studying and working in school, until graduation when he left America to travel the world, studying with the leading experts in numerous areas. He also studied various forms of martial arts. When returning to America and Gotham City, Bruce researched crime and it causes and the psychological attributes. Bruce is caught in a street brawl and is seriously injured. Back at the manor, Bruce pondered his situation, and figured out that criminals, while a cowardly and superstitious group, do not fear the common man. It was at this time that a bat flew through Bruce's window, which influenced Bruce to create a new identity. This was when Batman was truly born. With Alfred's help, Bruce dynamited the caverns below Wayne Manor when he planned to house his crime arsenal. Bruce began designing his weaponry that would give him the edge and instill terror in criminals. Before long, reports began flowing into the Gotham City Police Dept. about a large bat figure attacking criminals and thugs. The corrupt police sought out to stop Batman, but Lt. James Gordon along with a few straight cops helped to bring down the sinister police and advance Gordon to commissioner of the Police Dept. Along with his close knit group of allies, Batman is the Dark Protector of Gotham. |
