Minotaurs

Minotaurs are the bullies of the Land and its creatures. The body of a man and the head of a bull, the Minotaur is massive and for the most part, unintelligent. Their main frame of mind is to obtain things. Even if they do not particularly want whatever it might be, if another being has possession of it and flaunts it in the view of the Minotaur, then their jealous nature makes them want to have it. This mostly goes for things of magical or mystical value, if they Minotaur overhears the tale of the properties the item has... though most the time the Minotaurs limited mind leads to them discarding the object some time later because they cannot get it to work for them the way it should. Their speech is crude and comes in short "to the point" sentences always in the common tongue. The fact that they are so primitive mentally compared to the other races may be the reason they feel the need to bully all the others, for their respect.

What the Minotaurs lack in intelligence they surely make up for in brute strength and size. They are the strongest of all the common races in Dark Gully, even more than the Half-Dragons. They can easily bend metal bars with their bare hands...and snap the bones of most humans with a crushing grip. They stand between the height of six and a half and seven and a half feet tall. Their weight ranges from three-hundred fifty to five-hundred pounds. Most do not have hair but when one does it is a shade of brown or black and the color matches their eyes.

One other thing about Minotaurs is that females are rarely seen. A person may go their whole lives without ever seeing a female Minotaur but they do exsist. They are not unlike the males and just as brutish and bullying. Maybe even more than the males are depending on the first impression you make on them.

All Minotaurs, male and female, are fighters. They do fall under the sub-classes of Warrior as Knights, Pit Fighters, or Tribal Warriors. They will not serve anyone. They dont care for wealth. They dont live in tribes. They wander with a group now and again for whatever reason and do form bonds of friendship, but they never take on any formal training in what they do. A swift, brutal blow of their weapon to their enemy is all that they know. It is also only coincidence when they gain an item of value, mostly just wanting the "thing" because it is shiney or they hear someone else say how important it is. In their minds if they possess something "important" then it makes them important as well. And that is what the Minotaur wants if they truely want anything at all. To be important.

Note: Minotaurs must have a starting Strength Score of 20. Their starting Wisdom score cannot exceed 12, and their starting appearance cannot be over 15.
Note: Minotaurs can use their horns to attack, dealing 2d3 damage with them.
Note: Minotaurs do not wear armor heavier than Hide, hating being restricted in their movements.
Note: Minotaurs will not use weapons that do under 8 points of damage total. They prefer to deal more crushing blows to their enemies.
Note: Each new level the Minotaur may choose to either gain 1 point of Strength or 1 point of Wisdom. When those two statistics are at maximum they may choose to gain 1 point in any other statistic except Charisma.
