Combat Hits and Dodges

The tables below will show a characters chances at Attacking and Dodging when in combat. High Agility scores add to the chance of landing a successful Attack and Dodging a possible one. Note that the starting Agility of a character cannot be over 20, but later on in the characters development it may reach a score of 24.

The "Attacking Table" shows the percentage a character has of aiming a blow with success to a target. Rolls are made on a d100 (one-hundred sided die). If the number is equal to or lower than the percent then the character has succeeded unless the target makes a successful Dodge roll. As the character gains Levels of experience in the game, their Attack roll rises.

The "Dodging Table" shows the Dodging ability of each profession in percentage. If a Attack roll succeeds then a Dodge roll is to be made on a d100. If the result is equal to or lower than the percent shown for the level of the profession then the Dodge was successful and no damage is taken. If a characters Dodge Score is below 1 for whatever reason, they may still move, but not make any Dodge attempts.
