As time past, I recieved no word from Lucifuge. The bond between us weakened til it was no more. Bliss recieved word that Mercy was once again in Torpor, sending her deeper into seclusion. One night while within my home of the Nites Chylder family, while among some of the family, I was paid a visit by someone from my past. Lucifuge had returned. But he had returned to late. There was nothing left between us but memories. He left after we had words, vowing to return.

Was not long after this that Keeper left her NC family to begin her journeys. I know not what she seeks, but she is gone, but never forgotten.This left NC with no Lordess, so the Inner Circle was formed to run NC in her absence. The Inner Circle consists of five members of the family.

I am a member of this circle along with Cat, Sxy, Vixen and Scott.

It was around this time that a new pledge of NC caught my attention. In him I saw many promising things. The desire to learn all that he could stood out foremost. I would watch him many a eve as he would train or just slip off alone.

He was the first one I ever took into consideration for myself to embrace. But this did not come to pass. While away from our home on business, he was embraced by another not knowing my interest in him.

I knew I wanted him..so the night after his embracing, I approached him..offering myself to him. He accepted and I gave freely of myself to him. He brings out many things in me that I had thought long buried. We are now bonded for all eternity.

He is my mate...
He is Lucias
For all eternity. Thats what I thought. I did not know that my time with Lucias was to be so short. He was taken from me by the misuse of a powerful discipline. He was placed in Torpor. I was alone once again.

Nights past and I took more interest in the help of the running of our family to keep my thoughts from Lucias. During this time we recruited furiously to build up the family. Also we hired people to be caretakers of the Manor and the grounds during the day. One such employee was called Matthew Octavian After a time he was brought into the family fold and began his training.

As I trained with him, I saw things in him that reminded me of Lucias, so I was naturally drawn to him. I believe he was also drawn to me, for everywhere I appeared, he would be close by. We spent alot of time together since he joined with our family and not all was in training.

After some time it became known to all that Matthew was indeed Lucias. The Sire of Lucias had performed a soul transference as it became clear that Lucias's body was to badly damaged to return from topor. With the use of our Vicissitude, Lucias was able to change the body and features of Matthew to become the way he once was.

Then came the day/night that our home and family fell. It was just a matter of time. All knew this. Most of Keeper's Bloodline had disappeared or had met their deaths. Without her to embrace the new and keep her line going, it was left to others, those who had only been bonded into the family, such as myself. This was the end of the Clan NC.

The search for a new home led us to the city of Sanguaren. We worked and built the city to what it is now. A place for our family and a home for those who wish to live there.
