Lightside and Darkside
The light is weak in that it is a psychological way of sustaining the lightsiders need for recognition and love. The dark realise that it does not need recognition and love. A typical light knight is either light because he feels it is the -right- thing to be, but what the masses usually think is right, is wrong. The masses level of enlightenment is generally very low. It is constructed by things that people can -make friends- with, things like football or other sports, or pitifull emotions that noone gives a crap about. The light is part of the masses because it was generated by a mass of people, who have gathered about a lifestyle of altruism which I think is wrong, because there is no altruism in this world. Everything people do they do for themselves, even if that means helping an old woman over the road. That is why the lightside is so wrong! People who gather around for something like living to gain the -good feeling- are bound to lose themselves to it, and with that lose clairty of how the world and everyone and everything around them works. We who were dark do not wish to lose clarity like the lightside.
The light is weak in a way that diminishes it, it is weak for precisely the reason that it gains members in such a fluid, continuous and endless way. The dark path, however, differs from the light. It is not a path that says everything is good, everything is as god or whatever benign entity you have chosen to worship has said it should be. It is a way of life that looks at the cold, harsh reality of existence and that examines its cold blooded nature, with calm rationale over an under current of fire. The way of the dark is not to shine the light of human kindness upon the true darkly brutal nature of existence and in that way scare away the monsters that lie hidden in the outer and inner worlds, the way of the dark is to confront the metaphorical demons of existence, together and armed with weapons that enable the adept to destroy these things which oppose us and to manipulate the threat so that it is no longer such.
We have ranks, People who do well will gain more ranks and more recognition. People who do not do well will not gain any ranks. There are many ranks because there are many things to teach, and each rank focusses on one teaching. So are you to gain a rank, you will automatically gain access to a new lesson. We believe this system works because it allows people to think upon each lesson instead of just throwing them away.
If you speak against other people of the dark. You will lose rank, If you do something constructive that aids the darkside. You will gain rank. It is quite simple but also a quite effective system. Realise that those who are of higher rank than you, also command more recognition and respect within the darkside. Meaning that if you speak against those people you might lose more rank. Obeying the darkside is vital for learning anything here. There needs to be order for harmony within the darkside to be achieved and this is how this is done..
