I. On the developing of the "magnetic eye"

To practice the method, sit down before a bigger mirror, and observe your face.
Fix your sight on the root of the nose.
It might be of help, at the beginning, if you mark the spot with a pencil or ink.

Look at this point every day for three minutes, and increase the amount of time spent looking every three or four days with plus one minute.
This should be continued, until although you are looking at the point, you are able to perceive all your face.
When this practice gets easy, the point marked should not be used any more.
At this "level", the mirror should be left away too, and the practice should be continued by looking at people and animals this way.
The effect of this look might be considered as powerful, if properly used.

It might be of good use, to underline the wishes of the "practitioner", and to help force the will on the environment.
However, this should only be used, if the practitioner begins the talk, for looking this way to a someone speaking to you only disturbs him. It is important, to combine the look with clear and understandable speech.
The insecure, or other ways flawed speech greatly lowers the effectivity of the method. Thus the user should be advised to get himself used to clear, calm and determined talking.

Through the practice, it is likely, that the eye will produce some tears, and burn a bit.
This is of no consequence.
Through the strengthening of the eye, these symptoms will fade away with time.
A lot of actors, and performers use chemicals dropped into their eyes, to get a shining eye to "hex" their audience.
This will not be needed.

The rigidly fixed, motionless eye needs more "fluids", so the "shining eyes" will be a natural "extra gift" to the user of the method.
Nevertheless, bathing the eyes at first in mildly warm, later cold water might be of good effect.
Put the face every morning and night into clear water, and keep the eye open, until the object(which should be layed into the bowl before diving into it) can be clearly seen with the eyes underwater.

The duration of the practice depends on the time, as long as the student can remain underwater with one breath.
For the weak or ill eyed practitioners, I suggest a simple method.
A handful of dried Lupharsie Orfizinalis(Kamilla by common use),should be put into the water of the eye bath.
Use this bath twice/thrice a day, the eyes get stronger and more fresh from it.

After this practice, the student should fix his eyes to something distant, without viewing anything/any object in particular.
This strengthens the eye too, and is advised by after every "work", that relies heavily on the usage of the eyes.
Back to the practice, now.
It should be noted, that the "gaze" is the most effective, if it is used without any preparations, suddenly, with full power.
Because of this, further practice requires places, where there are pictures of man and woman present.
Sit down before the pictures, and look at them, using the "gaze" for one minute each.

At this exercise, the most important thing is, to move the eye from one picture to the other with the maximum speed possible.
So, after looking at one picture for a minute we gaze at the next one immediately, without looking at anything else.
This practice should not be carried out until the maximum tiredness of the eyes.10-15 minutes are enough.
These practices, along with the earlier mentioned ones should be practiced.

After gaining some proficiency, the weapon is ready, only the "ammo" should be required now. The student has to learn to give "magnetic power" to the gaze.

Because of this, now again the mirror exercise is required. It should be practiced, to communicate a thought , through the gaze.
If the student can efficiently use the gaze, it should be learned to mirror emotions and thoughts too.

Learn to express love, kindness, goodness, cheerfulness and hate, and to move these like a river in the direction of the mirror.
Concentrate your thoughts sharply, imagine that the mirror is a person close to you, whom you love with a great intensiveness.
Learn to acknowledge the strong suggestion, that you are not standing before your own mirror image.

No, you are watching someone else, and working towards his notice, to acknowledge your gaze full of love.
Naturally, this might be turned too, and imagined that we are standing before our enemy.

Think about, that this is the person, who is working against you your plans for a longer time, and wishes to do you harm, when he can.
Now, he is in your might, and you can punish him with your gaze. You communicate to him your hate, and that he will be punished.
The more the student is able to focus his thoughts to the described moods, the stronger the effect will be.

Be ware, not to overtire your face muscles.
They should be always remain relaxed and calm.

After a long time of practice, the gaze should be tried on living beings.
The student can expand, or change the methods I have described, suited to his individual needs and possibilities.
Nevertheless, although roads may differ, only the strong willed are able to walk them, regardless of differences in methods.

Every student is encouraged to make up practices, in accordance to this ones, best suiting to his personality.

It might be assumed, that he will not fail, for he already knows his goal.

II. On Astral Projection

The practice, that will be presented here, will be general in nature.
This is no "particular darksider method", but I think darksiders are not bound by anything to use anything, they would deem as worthy of usage.

The astral projection is a unique journey, which takes place during a purposefully initiated meditative/ hypnotic trance.
According to the psychological terms of Jung, man steps inside of the "collective subconscious", and meets periodically with the archetypes to which "he gives life to".

During the beginning phase of the practices, the journey seems like strong fantasizing, it seems, as if a new world would be created by the use of old memories.

Nevertheless, during more and more practice, the student will remark that the world he is venturing i is not the "word of fantasy".
It has its laws, and inner "logic", just like the "average world of mundanity".
The trance required for the journey can be achieved by the use of a lot of methods.
An Indian, will be presented here.

To the successful use, there should be an own magical set created. 25 Tattva cards.
The cards include five main symbols, and 20 combinations of these.
The main symbols are picturing the five elements of indian tradition.

Pirithivi - Earth - yellow square
Apas - Water - a laying silver moon crescent
Vju - Air - blue circle
Tdjas - Fire - red, all three sides equal triangle
ksa - Aether - dark purple egg

These form the bases for the rest of the cards.
All four others(in a smaller scale) are laid to the picture of the Pirithivi, and so on, this practice is done with all four other cards.
So, a red triangle is painted into the yellow square (thus completing the earth based, earth-fire representing picture), then a blue circle is painted into the yellow square(thus completing the earth based earth-air representing picture). And so on.
As all magical devises and tools, it is best advised to the practitioner to make his own ones.

The concentration/meditation/ required depends individually, I do not wish to expand on that topic. If someone has not yet reached the experience of mastering techniques required for this practice, than he should either practice, or leave this topic to be.

When the cards are finished, the first steps towards astral projection can be made.
Chose a sympathetic picture, which correlates best with the current mood, and go to a place where the practice can be made undisturbed.
The most ideal is a calm, shady room.

It should be noted, that the practice should be carried on when bodily functions are passive.
This means the student should not be hungry, nor "full fed".
Not tired, sleepy, but not hyperactive either.
The ideal state is when the spirit is functioning maximally above bodily functions.
Back to the practice:

Take place with the cards using a comfortable meditative position, that does not result in tiredness.
Put the picture in front, around the height of the eyes.
Shut out all circumstances, and only look at the picture.
Begin to make it bigger, and bigger, in imagination.
Pull it closer and closer, as walking through a gate,
and leave the material world behind.

The thoughts should be kept in the ocean of the abstract patterns that the card represents, they should not be left to "wander away"(this is common with beginners)
Let the pictures that are coming take an effect, which will be naturally most likely "irrational at first". This is due to the reason of not yet enough practice. Through every projection, the sight will be clearer and clearer. The visions are usually taking the practitioner to a field in connection with the card. If someone has chosen the card of air, or some combination of which the main theme is the Vju, he will experience things in connection with open sky or flight, etc.

The principal is the same with the usage of the other cards too.
We arrive to the territory on the astral plane, of which's gate we have entered through.
The exploration journey is a bit like a dream, but it is not the same for although the events can not be directed, the journey can be broken off anytime.

The intermediate level of this is, when someone is enough proficient to use the "Big Arcanum" of the Tarot as symbols.
This should only be advised to those, who have experience on both astral-plane travel, and are familiar with the symbolism of the Tarot cards.
The card, as the symbol of a "life journey", is the emanation of an advanced spiritual system.
The experiences gained through them are much more complex and meaningful, than through the "ordinary cards", so with practise, the student is warmly advised to use them.

On the current level, the indian symbolism is adequate, and provides materials for months.

What is the significance of practicing astral projection?
In occult debates, it is often a theme of dispute.
The ones who are against it, think of it as the "desecration" of magical methods, basing this on the fact, that the goal of magic is the reaching of spiritual perfection.

Thus, the astral plane is often described as something lower that the level of common life-spiritual level, instead of something in the middle.
I would remark, that the material plane is the lowest of lowest, and there is no place lower, man could go:)
If it does not help in the development of spiritual, it might strengthen the beliefs in it.

Not to mention the "little fact", that a lot of travelers have described experiences of most informative meetings during their journeys. And naturally, this practice prepares for stepping forward too. Nothing goes in vane, during the walking of the spiritual path of the individual.
