The Sword
The Sword of the Jensari refers to our strength, our weapon. To a Jensari our weapon is that of Hate, and Anger, and Rage; all the emotions shunned by society as 'BAD'. We do not see them as such, but there is an exception to the way we use our hate. We do not try and control it or bend it to our will. We embrace it, become one with it, feel it, love it, are always in a state of it. When you look around you, what do you see? What I see is fury, destruction, rage. All these things are classified as dark or bad, yet our planet ,our universe, is that dark, that bad. Have you ever stepped outside at night and looked at the stars? So peaceful they seem ,don't they? Yet what you are staring at is fury, the calm indurance of destruction. This is were you will find the Jensari. This is the place we call home.
Through constant study and use of your hate, you will get to a point in which the hate is peaceful, the anger is tranquil. This is the state we strive for: to live at a constant state of readiness and embrace the hate. We trust in the Force as do the others. Yet we impose our hate into the Force, creating a ripple that produces the effect we want. It is of our opinion that Hate is the strongest, most dominant emotion. We use it to win. We forge ourselves into a conduit of hate-manipulated force. With the sharpness of our minds, the strength of our convictions, and the fluidity of our movements, we obtain victory.
This forging of our spirits into that of the Sword of the Jensari is done through practice, practice of the Martial Arts, of combat, of war. We dedicate our lives and selves to the betterment of our bodies and the goals of The Dark Side. With discipline being a key to the Jensari's strength, practice becomes almost an obsession. The Jensari are Masters of Adaptability so we study no one specific martial art. We switch, we change , we find the weaknesses in one and expel them to make room for the strength of another. No two Jensari will fight alike; the only similarity is the use of our hate to unite the techniques and will of the Jensari, the the flow of the Force.
When the I speak of adaptability and fluidity most come to the idea of being like water. It has the ability to flow around even the hardest surface and patiently eat away its opponent until there is nothing left to eat. Amusing, the power of the water. It is constantly adapted by Light Side and a majority of martial arts as an instrument of defence. The truth is the water is as offensive and destructive as any dark side simile. But we the Jensari do not worry about the water. We do use it yes, we use whatever works at the time. Our fluidity comes from a much more powerful fluid.
Visualization is another key to the use of the force, as you well know, so while I explain this visualize it. Feel the power it calls upon inside of you, where the shadow of the soul lurks. Peace, flow, calmness, patience and fluidity emanate off the red-glowing fluid dripping down the side of the mountain. The lava is boiling yet calm, full of fury yet completely calm. Feel the peace in the middle of the hate and fury. This is the key to the forging of the Sword of the Jensari.
