Chapter 1 Arrival of the Guests The servants (Kita), guards (James, Acinonyx) and others of the house von Braun, and Gethsemene's retainer (me), hung around till the guests arrived. A short list of the guests that I can remember - a barbarian called Logan MacRoth, some fighter called Taranth Darkwatcher, some hoity Fairy Princess or something and a couple of hangers on, a Gypsy lord Glenn Underwood; a barmaid Kita, a female Gypsy - Andreassa, the vampire priest Gabriel, a Ceres priest Acanthus Everlight, Gethsemene's father, a vampire lady - Bellandra, a dark mage Aitrus, and some other insignificant people.

Chapter 2 The Ceremony and Dinner People went outside and milled around a bit till they were ordered to places. I hung around near Gez'ze as her bodyguard and fidgeted. The vampire priest Gabriel performed the ceremony, but at the closing words "Does anyone here object to the union of these two in holy matrimony" or some human blather, an unexpected guest arrived. Eric's sire the ancient Vampire Lord Misrahem. He interrupted the proceedings to scare people, but allowed them to resume after 'greeting' the bride and groom. He was seeming to be magnanimous and generous in a scary way and I didn't trust him anywhere near my ward Gethsemene. Everyone then went inside and dinner was served. (Table manners? What table manners? Gethsemene used an ornate dragon knife. I used my fingers.) Seems Misrahem was not used to eating. "I've never really bothered to try eating before. Wench, bring me one of everything." Andreassa even brought him a clove of garlic. Eric flinched as he bit into it, but all Misrahem said was "So this is garlic? Quite a pleasant tingling sensation. Get me some more, wench." I mainly stuffed my face with bread and some bits of meat. Gethsemene was busy flicking bits of bread at the Fairies, especially when the Fairy 'princess' came up to the table to talk to the vampire Baron Eric. Also, she dropped grapes down the gypsy woman Andreassa's cleavage. It was very funny. As was telling the Fairies about torture methods and grinning evilly (with my teeth a white hole in my red and black face I am told it looked very effective too).

Chapter 3 The Bridenapping Gethsemene was privately talking to her father, so I was roaming around peering into the bushes. Then three people came up, so I went over to her side, looking suitably threatening. The lord who was there wanted to talk to me, and I was very wary about it. He kept saying "Come closer so I can talk to you." He asked who I was, to which I replied bluntly and defiantly, "Giz'dra." Then he said, to one of his companions, "I don't think this one is necessary." and someone sapped me. Damn. Then they kidnapped, or bridenapped, Gethsemene. When I woke up, boy was I hopping mad. (Literally. I was jumping up and down and growling "Where are zey?") I ran after them and attacked (they must have heard a crazed yell coming closer as I sprinted towards them) and fell down a bank on top of someone. I was really shaken by that because I'd never been beaten in anything before (that's why I was still alive!) and feared that I'd be killed for the weakness, probably by her vampire husband Baron Eric von Braun, who was also very, very angry. In a horribly cold, scary fashion. So I acted very subservient to him for a while, and went into the front lines.

Chapter 4 The Hunting We hung around at the end of the bridge for a short while until a searching party had been formed, and sallied off into the darkening forest to search. I got sent the wrong direction to start off with. Later we were walking through the horrid Swamp over a board walk. And there were nasty little glowing things over the side of the path. Nearing the end of the trek I actually fell over the edge of the walk into the fetid Swamp, managing to pull myself out quickly. We heard screams in the distance and charged into the fray. They were trying to wrest Gethsemene's truename from her, and maybe had succeeded already! The fight was over quickly and the vampire comforted her. We got back to the Keep to find that the Vampire Lord Misrahem was threatening the life of one of the Guard, and challenging Baron Eric to a fight. I was growling and shielding Gethsemene. Eventually after some talking they took it outside and had a big one-on-one duel, during which Eric downed, and drained, his sire Misrehem, becoming a Blooded Vampire and immune to the effects of Righteous, Holy Water, and garlic. The game concluded shortly after that.
