Sans Loyalty
Shawn Thornburg
Stood you there on balcony,
Sorrowed brow, you surveyed me.
Weak my heart, I felt it flutter,
No more words lest we stutter.
Thought I back to times gone a while,
Your once warm arms, I curbed my smile.
Unfaithfulness meet ending here,
So feel you me no longer near.
Your untamed sin so vastly great,
Departed I through garden gate.
Take you back some day might I?
If you let your other man die.
